Sigh. I hate girl blogs.
I broke up with my girlfriend about 5 months ago. We still see each other about once a week. I broke up with her only because I wasn't sure if we were compatible in the long term. I loved her very much and still do. We're really similar - humor, personality, etc. We 'get' each other on most things, have probably only fought two or three times in 2 years. 'Soulmates' if you wanna throw around that word. We don't have sex anymore though we both still want it, but we do fool around occasionally. We complement each other - she's very much of a giver, really sweet, naive-ish, and i'm more of a selfish taker, though I do pay everything she wants.
Originally, the point of this blog was 'why I broke up' and 'I'm probably very stupid.' But I don't really want to share those details.
The new point is: Don't feel despair over chasing a girl who seems like she's in a great relationship. Though she may 100% be in a great, amazing relationship, loving her bf x 24/7, there are always 'things' beneath the surface.

The thing is, i'm basically in a similar position with my ex-girlfriend and i totally get it.
To the new point, i kind of get that one, too. Since i know my relationship with my ex would never work in the long term, i started to take a look around and found this one awesome girl. Problem: she is in a relationship and i really don't want to be some sort of homewrecker. Answer: i see her occasionally, we have fun (only conversations and stuff, strictly nonsexual) and laugh together. what happens next is on her

No it doesn't make sense in general. I really don't get this girl blog, the idea is to get it out and let it free on a website where people are generally smart and cordial. Why keep it in and give vague details?

You know, you wouldn't appear to be as the antagonist in the relationship if you actually mentioned the "'things' beneath the surface" that were so insurmountable that made you break up with your 'soulmate'. Maybe edit that in or do another blog detailing these things, we would all benefit from this.
Don't be shy about not wanting to share the details, this is the internetz, it's anonymous. Do you really think somebody on here would seek out who you are in real life? We are like your faceless therapist.
