EPTI dream to be a husband
I dream to be a father (multiple times)
I dream to not die alone.
I dream to be a writer
I dream to be involved in pro gaming
I dream to attain a PhD (or 2)
I dream to change my country for the better
I dream to see the world
I dream to have many friends that I write to
I dream to save a life
I dream to one day not worry about money.
It becomes apparent looking at these dreams of mine, at least to me, that some of these dreams will complement the others, while some will take effort away from them. Deciding where to start, what to work on first is daunting. after all those dreams are my whole life, the entirety of what I want my life to be right now how can I possibly just start being what I want to be.
And yet, with all that hesitation, the answer becomes quite apparent; just go do it. Life isn't as complicated as we think. There is a cause and effect relationship to our world, and nothing (attainable) is truly impossible to a well enough informed person. The biggest loser can marry the hottest most perfect woman, the poorest man can become rich, all dreams are possible. It's only a matter of effort. Despite what people may say, it's not possible because I am an American, it is possible because I am human. Humanity has the capability to do anything including moving to an environment suited to our goals, and a drive that can give us otherwise impossible strength, patience, intelligence, anything we need. So that philosophy taught me, it doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter where I start, I can do anything, so why should it matter where I start? Now I'm on my way to trying to fulfill my dreams I'm writing frequently, I'm going to college, I'm making friends many of which are women, I do everything I can do help those around me, I'm spending my money more wisely, and I'm practicing DOTA 2 whenever I can, and actually I need to go set up a thread for people learning DOTA 2 here on teamliquid, I'll get that done soon.
Tomorrow is a new day for a reason Teamliquid. It doesn't matter your age, sex, race, socio-economic standing. You can do anything. Just start.
