Ilyes (Stephano)
Ser Nicholas Plott, all in crimson red, stood beside his lord’s bedchamber door, the five fingers of his right hand curled about the golden hilt of the Valyrian steel sword “Observer”. The first light of day slanted down through the windows of Casterly Rock’s great keep. The fortress overlooked the harbor of Lannisport and the Sunset Sea, and housed the extraordinary rich family Satouri. They were by far the wealthiest house in all of Westeros, largely due to the many gold mines under their control. You could win wars as long as you had enough of those dragon sealed gold coins, and many Satouris in history had indeed spent their wealth on spears and armor. Ilyes preferred to spend it on wine and whores, stating that he would rather penetrate a fine female with his manhood, than a man’s skull with an axe.
“Damn the child, I told him all about the importance of this meeting”, Nick thought as his fist pounded on the door. On the other side, Ilyes was pounding something entirely different.
“Just a minute Nicholas, I still have some homework to do”, the voice from across the wall said.
The door swung open, and Nick marched in. A pretty redhead sat on her knees beside the silk bed. And a pretty brown one. And a blonde one.
“Well, they had some homework to do,” Ilyes said with a big smile. The ladies deemed him very charming, with his long curly hair tied together in a big ponytail and olive colored skin, but the boy proved himself to be the most useless lord in centuries. He did not take part in politics, war or anything somewhat important. Most of his days he spent in this room with his whores. Leaving the room usually meant he had gotten tired of a girl, or that his personal Dornish wine supply had been fully consumed. The bannermen resented him, they had even suggested that Nick could lead them to war, and the boy could stay in bed with his girls. “The child has to learn someday, this one’s as good as any”, Plott had replied. When he stood in that doorway, Nick already started to regret that decision. He smiled at the girls, and they proudly showed their breasts while dancing around giggling. Many considered Nick to be the best looking man in the seven kingdoms, and his short brown hair and neatly trimmed beard had persuaded many girls into bed. Unfortunately he had no time for fun today.
"Purple", Nick said.
"What?"
"Purple. It is the only hair color you miss. At first I wanted to say pink, but then I noticed the one in the corner."
"O, yes. She is from the free city of Lys. I'm telling you, my friend, they did not steal their reputation of best pleasure ladies in the world."
Nick ignored that statement. “My lord, we are going north to the Riverlands. If you can find your pants at least”, he said while Ilyes favored the redhead with his soft smile, and eye-fucked her.
“Why?” Ilyes still rested comfortably on the bed, with two girls wrapped around his arms.
"I have gotten used to it, but the rest of the lords might not appreciate your…sword.”
“I meant why the Riverlands”, Ilyes said annoyed.
“To fight the war, of course."
Ilyes sighed. “In that case, I don’t think I can find my pants.”
“You are the lord of the Rock, it's time to act like one, you goddamn child.”
“Correction, my father is the lord of the Rock. I am the handsome, charming prince”, he smiled at the blonde and softly kissed her breasts.
“Your father is half a world, no, an entire world, away in Asshai. It would be an enormous embarrassment if no Satouri family member were to be present in the army. The men’s morale would be crushed.”
Ilyes remained focused on the brunette, and whispered sweet words in her ear before he kissed her.
“My lord, the war!”, Nick yelled half-angry, half-annoyed.
“Fine, fine! I’ll come. Just tell me who we are fighting and I’m good to go.”
“My lord, that’s what this meeting is for. You have to decide whether we fight for king Dongraegu, or usurp against him. Either we join house Root in the Riverlands and fight the Northerners, or we besiege Riverrun and join up with Robinson later.”
"What color are their armors? If any of them fights in pink, I want to join them. I love pink."
"War will not be so amusing for the men who die at your command", Nick was getting furious.
Ilyes sighed again. “If no one is fighting in pink, I guess I have no choice but to make a rational decison. How very boring. Who else is fighting against the king?” Ilyes asked, but then immediately restored all of his focus to the blonde girl again.
“Lord MC, if he ever makes it back to the Eyrie. The North too. The Stormlands and Dorne fight for Dongraegu, as do the Roots of Riverrun.”
“What about Highgarden?” The pink girl really was amazing.
“House Prosser sheds no blood. They remain neutral, as always. My lord, it is your decision, but Dongraegu is a kingslayer. The men would rather fight against him.”
“The men do not care. You do.”
Nick had not expected that, the boy might not be as dumb as he looks. “Precisely so, my lord. There is a good side, and a bad side in this war. I would advice you to join the good one.”
“Good and bad are irrelevant. Winning and losing is what matters. The way I see it, it's one house against the king, one maybe against the king, and three for the king. Send ravens to King’s Landing and Riverrun, tell them we are fighting for the crown, and will join Riverrun’s defenses in a few weeks.” The boy died, and the lion of the Rock was speaking now.
“My lord…” Nick tried to argue, but he was quickly cut off.
“Like you said, I am the lord of the Rock. Not you. I will hear no more of this. Gather the men, we march at nightfall.”
Nick nodded in approval, but his eyes betrayed the feelings of anger that stirred in his soul. Silently he turned around and exited the bechamber. He had always been a man of dignity, ever trying to do good in this world. A man who fought with honor, respected all across the realm.
“I will join the good side, but I do not fight with honor. Riverrun is close to impenetrable, it’s defenses strengthened with the natural three flows of water make it hard to take. An all-out attack would paint the walls red. But if we come friendly, the Roots will be happy to see us. They will give us lemon pies instead of arrows, roast beef instead of steel. They will throw a feast to celebrate our arrival. And when they sleep, we will slit their throats and take Riverrun from them. Ilyes Satouri, the sleeping lion, the useless lord, the man who spends his days drinking wine and fucking whores. Hah, when I am through with this war, there won't be any left of that. Ilyes Satouri, the conqueror of the Riverlands. The young lion. The leader of the rebellion. The king of Westeros.”
“My lord, you are dreaming,” the redhead giggled. And I know exactly what you need to give those thoughts a rest, and push them far away in that pretty head of yours”, the beauty whispered sensually as she crawled on top of him, and removed her gown to reveal her fine breasts.
Ilyes smiled, and pushed his lips against hers. “O, don’t worry about me dear. I have it all figured out”. Five minutes later, Ilyes Satouri already felt like a king.
