What the heck just happened? It seems to be an unfortunate trend in media and books these days to either have a vague ending or a non-happy one which is terrible because it's the final scene of the series that stays with you forever. Some movies can pull it off - like Inception. Whether he was in a dream or not at the end, both endings are happy because he finds peace, and both endings make you think. What Big really needed was a final sense of closure. All that being said, I really enjoyed the first 10 or so episodes and it was a great intro to k-dramas. Hopefully AGD doesn't have this kind of ending. Edit: Yeah I'd definitely be interested in regular blogs like this, you should do it! It would have been good to know I could skip the 4 or 5 filler episodes in Big.

Inception left you hanging because it contained some deep, philosophical ideas that deserve further thought from the viewer. Big is a romantic comedy for christ sake, there shouldn't be any reason to leave an ending hanging like that. I would have even been ok with a sad ending. It's the unsatisfying ones that sting the most. Also, thanks for the positive feedback. I'll probably do another one of these for AGD.
