I need some good game recommendations for games to play on my DS Light. (or w/e its called lol)
Things to consider:
I play the DS alone, not with friends as we generally enjoy different ways to play video games.
I won't get a DS3 or any consoles like XBOX
I do have a Wii but the games suck for 1P so... :/
I love strategy games like my Advance Wars: Days of Ruin and my SC:BW
I wish there was a SC:DS lol...
I really like TCG's as well. If there is anything like Magic The Gathering for DS/Game Boy that would be awesome lol.
I play a lot on the go instead of at home so thats why I don't have Consoles.
I will accept Game Boy games too. I have too many to list lol.
No Advance Wars or Fire Emblem reccomendations please!

+ Show Spoiler +Yugioh: Nightmare Troubadour (it was $5, and has proved to be a good time waster) Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (A bit long for my taste, I have yet to finish it  ) Lego Battles(The first Lego RTS, and on a DS, I felt like giving it a shot, was worth 4 hours of game time outside the achievements) Civ: Revolution (Nice time waster, I can beat all difficulties as long as I don't get a shitty spot) Chessmaster (to practice my chess skills in between tournaments) Narnia: Prince Caspian (OMG I don't even know how I got this....) Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Worst Zelda I ever played ) Lego Swar Wars II(no comment) BattleShip Risk and Clue in the same game. Golden Sun: Dark Dawn(GS Nostalgia yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah) Diddy Kong Racing(One of the first games I bought for my DS... I regret it) Chaotic: Shadow Warriors (A $5 game that seems to be some weird Zelda and YuGiOh combined into a fucked up game that just annoys me lol...) SPORE: Creatures(I lost it like a year ago, but it was designed for little kids moreso than adults, totally different from the real SPORE =/) Star Trek: Tactical Assualt (I remember liking this but I lost it like 2 years ago :/) I also have all the Zelda games for Game Boy(Four Sword ftw)

Reason: Every top 20/10/15/etc. game list I found for DS had this in the top 10 if not the top 5. Many explained that there was nothing really wrong with the game. Great music, sound effects, storyline, etc. So, I'll be buying this shortly and I'll let you know when I get it.
I will also be doing another blog shortly on a totally different topic. For those of you that remember my mysterious episode when I was 14(I am now 15) where I kept hearing someone trying to open the door, well, this is also at that level of spookiness. But it comes from another place entirely. Not from outside the home, but from inside the home. Your guess as to what it is. Anyone that guesses correctly should be payed $10, unfortunately that money won't come from me

Starfox command is pretty fun, and because of this thread I looked through my DS games collection, and i can't find my Castlevaniaortrait of Ruin cartridge... T_T I'm very sad about that, that game is amazing, I would recommend it.

Also, I liked the first movie Transformers games, even though nobody else did... the free-roam and vehicle scanning stuff was a lot of fun.

I really don't mind story-heavy games, but it never seemed to get to the game part of it. It was just reading a linear detective story with very little playing involved (except for a bit of walking to different rooms between dialog).
I'm not saying it was bad, it just didn't do it for me. :>

World ends with you and Knights in the nightmare. Both have interesting bits to them. Hard to explain. Just find a review video or something.
Final fantasy tactics A2 is really solid for single player strategy rpg.

Well, World Ends With You has too much use of the Stylus for my taste (bad wrists, I get annoyed when my Mic fails, as in wanting to throw my DS out the window annoyed, which I do NOT want to do again).
Knights in the nightmare however sounds really good from the reviews.
Still thinking about others, also I already have mario cart DS (Kart? W/e)

Final Fantasy 3 and Final Fantasy 4 for the DS. They have the best opening scenes EVER created for a DS game.
Age of Kings is really good tooooooo.

Final Fantasy 6 for the GBA. I got it for 7.50 off a chinese seller on ebay. Story, gameplay, challenging, and a long playtime
