My 8 year old cat Lara just died in a car accident/fight few hours ago .... I'm so sad and pissed of right now T_T
I was doing my ussual gardening buisness in my yard and I heard my 2 cats Lara and my other male cat ( her dick son ) got in a fight for the 112931293 time in the past few months but it was really tragic and unlucky this time because it was on the road and at the same time a taxi was passing by and crushed her head on the spot ......
It basically happened before my eyes and im so sad and mad at the same time. The taxi driver didnt even stop ( FUCK YOU TAXI DRIVER ) and the stupid male cat who I've been kinda hating lately because he has became unusually aggressive in this period and even pissed on my leg a couple of times in the past month or so ( LoL ).
My heart just dropped to the ground when I saw my cat spazzing on the ground and blood coming out of her head and I was so mad that If my other cat was close to to me I would ripped him apart for being such a douche cat lately. At least she didnt suffer and stopped moving in less then a minute.
RIP My sweet devilish Lara . I will miss you sleeping on my bed and my chest, I will miss peting you and hearing your sweet purring, heck I will miss you waking me in the night to give you food, I will miss you forever.

Perhaps OP was looking for a "sorry" or some sympathy from the driver, to hear that the driver didn't mean it. That's usually helpful when one is emotional.
Sorry to hear - my cat died a long time ago due to some paralytic condition that rendered her entire back half of her body useless. My parents had her put down while I was at school, and I came home to find out about the whole thing.

Its not the driver's fault because he was driving slow. My house is on a corner of the road so cars are preety slow when passing by. I was pissed at the moment and the driver didnt even bother to stop and say just one little sorry. Its was just a bunch of unlucky circumstances that my cat is dead.

If it makes you feel better, you probably felt more pain watching your cat die than the cat did before it died. Head traumas always has a numbing effect on the body so you don't really feel or sense or even think straight for a couple of minutes after the trauma has occurred. In severe head traumas where people gotten like spears and shit through their heads coming to the ER with the damn thing still in their head they claim they don't feel any pain or even discomfort about the whole situation and they took like a good 15-30 minutes to get to the ER in the first place. SO ya, your cat probably didn't even notice what happened.

oh man, i just saw a cat lying on the street (its night here) when i drove from work that looked exactly like my cat. and now this thread appears. i hope she comes home safely... fuck those car drivers who have 0 reaction

Well I'm still feeling shitty today so i thought I would cheer myself up with a couple of episode of The Big Bang Theory. I start watching and then i run into the episode where Sheldon breaks up with his "girlfriend" and start keeping tons of cats into his apartment lol. That really took my mind of my cat :|

Man... I was literally devastated after finding my cat next to the road. I can't imagine what it must be like if you see it happen.
So sorry for your loss. Cats are the best.

Sorry to hear.
I can ''somewhat'' relate. Tomorrow I will be leaving for a long journey to Asia and I won't be home for years. Our dog is currently 12 years (had her since I was a small kid) old and getting worse every month. Realistically it will be the last time I will see her.
But at least I will have a chance to say goodbye.

that's why we don't let the cat outside at our new house, the old one was on top of a hill never any traffic but the neighbors but our new place is right on one of the main roads in town, he hates it but we like him alive

RIP Lara. I have a cat myself named Gretta, I'd be super fucking sad if something happened to her. I get sad even when I see a stray cat on the side of the road when I'm driving - damn my soft heartedness.

I have 4 cats aswell, they're Cornish Rex' though so they stay inside (or they'll get stolen lol..)
They all have such unique personalities, I can't even imagine how sad I will be when they pass away :/...
