New mockumentary about eSports

Hey guys, so for about a year now, I've been toying with the idea of making a comedic mocumentary that follows a 'pro gamer'. So its sort of like Pure Pwnage (before It got on TV), but I'm trying to make it different enough that people can see it and NOT go 'Ahh this is just a gay Pure Pwnage rip off'. That shouldn't be too hard to make different though because I'm naturally going to be adding my Australian humour to it... Not 100% sure of where its going to go, but at the moment my goals for it are to not be considered a cheap copy of Pure Pwnage (even though it will be similar (if that makes sense)), and for it to reflect gamers in Australia... ... ... Yeah that made almost no sense... lol

At the moment I'm going over the general story line, working on the script for the second episode and looking at re-shooting most (if not all) of the first episode. Some of the acting was really empty and REALLY boring to look at, so I need to at least re shoot all that.

I'm looking at filming various parts in LAN events or at gaming bars, as well as around my house and stuff. Maybe a few shops here and there. Should be fun ^_^

I'll keep you all updated on the progress and stuff... But at the moment this is pretty much all I have to share until the first episode is released.

do it. the worst that can happen is its boring as hell and no one watches it. you could also add some sort of message or undertone that actually complements the high level of skills and dedication that are required to become a pro gamer, along with the risk involved, that only becomes apparent through watching you fail >.<

Sounds excellent man, good luck. Hope you watch Spinal Tap and that for inspiration, my first thought was an interview with TLO saying "Well there came a point when I thought 'how much more beardy could I get?' and the answer was 'None, none more beardy'"

Haha! He's a top bloke! I'm not exactly asking for permission; more or less letting everyone know that this is happening :3
I'm hoping to actually get situations in the plot of the show to quote him more, like throw a 'never give up, never surrender' in there every once in a while. Like obviously he didn't make that quote famous, but among us nerds he did ^_^ haha
