Hey all.

Before and if you decide to read this. I ask you too read the first part of my blog. Its in my blog page...thing. Not hard to find I promise. <3 You'll get more from this blog then. Or be more inclined/interested to see my musical taste change.

So... Where to begin? Suppose I should start with my Birthday? May 1st. 2012. New Phone. (As sadly, my other broke) So... I needed music. (Emphasis on Need) But... I had to stop and decide what to put on it,,, 7.5 GB of Music. Not that much if you ask me.

Sad music. I realize that it was I enjoy the most. People might think i'm depressing because of that? I'm not. So, Tom Waits. Evanescence. Certain songs from a variety of bands.

So.. That was all good? That's my music and might as well just sync to my phone? No.

No... I was watching Iron Man 2. (Seriously...Iron Man 2) And... A scene came on when he was fighting his friend or whatever. Not important. Listen closely... In the back - round you can hear a song. What song? Daft Punk - Robot Rock.

Eargasm? Like... I always thought... You have your kind of music. That's yours. The only band that repeats it's sound every 10 seconds... and is considered musical genius But then... It happened.

So how the fuck does that happen? In one day. In X amount of time my music..Changes.
How funny is that??? :L

So... In the end... I put half and half. I still love sad music. As it makes you feel. Really the only music that makes me feel anyway (No tears mind you) And the other half... A mixture of all.

NO RnB or Rap or Dubstep. If you like that, it's your choice..

Well This is pretty normal, people generally dont only listen to or have a single favourite genre, its more about the music and the feelings you get from it. That being said i generally enjoy all music besides jazz and most of dubstep

mine went from alt stuff like the smashing pumpkins/dandy warhols/bloc party to trance in the last year or so. i havent listened to anything but trance in months. i began my music journey in punk of all places then rock, harder rock, to metal, to more "pretty" sounding metal, RnB/rap (the roots, lupe fiasco) then to alt then electronic stuff. pretty big change for me id say

music mang, theres some good shit in every genre. didnt like any dubstep til i found the liquid dubstep thread on this very website!

New and little known folk band. They released a fantastic debut album with a great vibe and a very garage-y, indie feel to it.

EDIT:
Props to Gloomzy for posting Porcupine Tree. They're one of the premiere prog bands active today. Steven Wilson is an amazing writer.

Meh. my music taste hasnt really changed since i listen to a lot of different stuff.

and now... a lovely hapy little song about rape. enjoy ^_^

edit- wait wait wait.

NO RnB or Rap or Dubstep. If you like that, it's your choice..

i mean... as long as you're expanding your musical repertoire...

I think alot of peoples taste in music changes when they are young. I went through the same thing. When I was in a middle school, it was stuff like System of a Down (Toxicity was always in my CD player.)
Was also into stuff like Linkin Park at that time, whenever Hybrid Theory came out.
Never really listened to music that much during high school.

It was only until I was in my late teens that I really started exploring music. I started getting into rap (real rap) from friends online. I was listening to stuff like 2Pac, Nas, Notorious B.I.G., Dr.Dre, Mobb Deep and was blown away. My only experience with rap until that point was the materialistic bullshit playing on MTV all the time. I started getting into more underground rap as well like Rakim, and Immortal Technique. This is also the time when I listened to The Beatles heavily and they are one of my favorite bands now.

I still occasionally listen to some electronic music, I don't enjoy it most of the time though. Lately it has been video game/movie/anime soundtracks I have been listening too. If I put my iPod on shuffle, I always notice a large variety of genres that I listen too now, It's like my brain become a melting pot to an extent when it comes to music.
