You should know from instinct if when you asked for her phone number if she was really interested in you or just giving it out to satisfy you at the moment, for some women have no spines. Hanging out with her, studying, and acting friendly to her are all semi-mistakes imo, once you're friend zoned its hard to get out of that. ^ obviously you want to be friendly, but not to "FRIEND"ly Anyway, if you're writing a blog on TL about it, you're probably pretty obsessed with her. I don't know for sure, but it sounds this way. And girls seem to have a radar for that. | ||

I allow myself to make excuses to myself, telling myself that i'm too depressed to get into the whole 'game' of love at the moment. Good job, you know that it's an excuse. I decide to cut the crap and ask her to hang out over the holidays and she enteres her phone number. Good job again. So now it's the week of exams: I've sent her a few messages and she hasn't replied to one so i decided to wait untill after we are done with exams. Please explain what "a few messages" are for you. How many, what general content? In what intervals? (Trying to figure out how "pushy" you might seem to her.) ... In general while messages can work in awesome ways (in fact I think most people just are horrible at writing them), I'd usually go for a call instead. Nothing big though. **TL;DR Is it possible to shatter bad first impressions with a girl? If so, how? I have a timid/shy impression with a goth girl (whose number I have) i share a lot in common with and I want to use my new found healthy mental state to break the mold.** You don't have a bad first impression with her. If you did, she wouldn't have given you her number and she wouldn't have hung out with you. Coming across as a bit timid and shy is not the end of the world. From your description you didn't really do much so far so it shouldn't be that much of a deal. Unless you're going to add something important (especially in case you bombed her with like 50 SMS in 3 days =P), here's my suggestion: #1. Worry about your exams. (=P) #2. Once they're over (2-3 days) call her and ask if she wants to go for a drink or something similar. #3. Remember that the difference between a friendship and a relationship is that couples have sex. Friends usually don't. Sexual attraction is, among other things, built by getting to know each other on a physical level. A good idea. I'd obviously care, and it'd be a shame, but I already have stuff going on with other girls. Stop worrying. I dare saying this isn't even really blogworthy since you don't really have a problem. =P | ||
