Dear users of Teamliquid, I have never written a blog in my life... but this one had to be written. I come with a warning, any one considering buying a new computer please save yourselves the gigantic pain in the ass of dealing with Ibuypower.
I decided to get a new computer, with the release of diablo 3 and my current one only being able to run sc2 on low-medium. Ibuypower was having a sale plus they sponsor a bunch of sc2 tournaments! I thought great I can get a deal and help Esports! Biggest mistake of my entire fucking life. I ordered a pretty decent setup I can run all the games I use on max without a problem right now. Now to the fun adventure part of my purchase! Two weeks or so later I was giddy as a child on Christmas, my computer had finally arrived!!! So I of course ripped open the box and hooked it all asap. I booted it up and to my dismay, it wouldn't actually boot... couldn't find the hard drive. So I cracked open the case and what do I find? My hard drive, sitting unattached to anything in the base of my computer -.-. Looking closely it seems that the chord for it has completely snapped off, well fuck. Oh my friends it gets even better! Looking at the case, those cheap assholes at Ibuypower apparently didn't plan out their pre built PC's very well as they had no room to put the hard drive in a proper location... what they did, well it blew my mind. They BENT the frame of the case around the hard drive to try and hold it in place... Yes, you read that right... they bent the god damn frame to try and hold the hard drive in place.
That is not all friends, my story doesn't end there. Dealing with their customer service... well that was a special kind of treat. First they assumed I was a complete moron and tired telling me that is how computers are supposed to be built... So after a bit of arguing about that, they agreed to send out a replacement chord and hard drive(Mine was loose and bouncing around the entire shipment time and I didn't trust that it was damaged.) Which I know have to pay the shipping for when I send back their broken crap. Ahh if only this were the end of the story, I might not have written this blog if this was all. Today I got my replacement hard drive... Only to find out after hooking it up, that it doesn't even fucking work... They sent me a god damn broken hard drive as a replacement... Now I'm going to have to deal with their shitty customer service reps and constantly be told "Thank you for waiting, your first in line to see the next available representative." For over 40 minutes...
In conclusion Fuck you Ibuypower, you're garbage and any one considering buying a computer from them I highly, highly recommend you look elsewhere.

If you want to buy a computer, from what I've heard(And should have listened to) is use something like Dell's or even Ibuypowers customize option, build your PC and order all the parts from newegg or some place like it. I was just being lazy and I paid the price for it!

I've read so much bad stuff about their computers on various websites:
first; take pictures, they need to see and we need to see what they did to fuck it up. second: get a full refund, no bullshit, no crap. You've earned a refund and I think you just have to pay for the shipping back (this is standard for a lot of companies, read the terms). third: go to NCIX.com and get your computer pre-built there.
You pick the parts and its 50$ extra to have it pre-built for you + they test everything and you get a year of their warranty. I got my computer from NCIX and two things made me happy about them: 1. You can match any part you find with cheaper gear (from the same country) so long as you can prove it. Shopbot.ca shows lowest prices on gear and the site, so you use that + NCIX price-match and you save like 200$
Second: if your configurations or computer parts don't exactly work the way intended, they'll call you and tell you and suggest other parts. This is a dream for dumbasses like me who try for the best stuff, but don't quite know about shit. I almost bought a PSU I didn't need and they suggested lower.
Third, My comptuer came, but my mouse and keyboard were behind ): They expressed shipped it without charge.

Still get a refund, seriously.

The only reason I'm debating on whether or not too, is now that it is here, even with the hard drive not sitting in a proper spot it all runs perfectly so far. Shipping it back costs me money, then I gotta order a new one and wait for it to get here but the more I think about it the more likely it is that I will be getting a refund on it. Thanks for the advice

My motherboard is completely fucked and I didn't get the replacement because I didn't have a computer and I just wanted to use it. Works fine, but sometimes the USB fucks it up and causes my PC to restart or shuts off my keyboard/mouse.
In the long-run, you'll be happy. Don't put yourself at risk for the short-term gain and laziness when you know they fucked-up and it's still pretty crap.

NCIX is boss. I've bought two computers from them so far, they totally rock and customer service is good too. Highly recommended.

Updated with a pic of it, drew a box to try and highlight how it was bent.

Yeah, get your refund. Don't be afraid to get mad and yell. It's how I got 4 laptops for free from Dell.
