I feel like the only GM level eaters I know are either relatives (who migrated) or friends who recently came to the states from Korea. I myself barely make masters :D Big ups to this blog because I only began appreciating how amazing Korean food is after I went to college. Eating dorm food, frozen foods, and other generally bland foods makes you realize how amazing your home food is <3

Anyways, this blog is awesome! I've actually tried everything except the GM foods, Apollo and 복어. I know what I'm eating this weekend!

But again, I mostly eat the trinity meat and 떡볶이(DDuk-bok-GGi) and Kimchi related food. I guess I am just a gold leaguer

I normally wouldn't recommend ranking changes since a lot of it is personal taste but 꼬리곰탕 is really good food for white people when they're first trying korean food in my experience. Since it's basically just beef stock soup with large chunks of tender meat that falls off the bone really easily. And tail is a pretty reasonable part of the cow to eat; novel, but not crazy (like intestines/blood/tongue). It's really similar to 갈비탕. It's one of my favorite korean foods still! (was my favorite growing up) ^^

I hope you and your girlfriend can make it through your loss and good luck as a software dev! I want to create/join a start-up as well one day, though it's an extremely, extremely hard venture >.<
