If you were simply letting each other borrow the games to try them, you really shouldn't have sold it.

Young teens are good at demanding irrational things. Just ignore the neighbor. Who cares? The neighbor is a grandmother. And in recent news, we just fixed the situation. I had to act as a third party and what was agreed was that the appraisal value (she did not know what the word meant) of Saints Row 2 was down and there would be no reason to pay 60 dollars. So now, a week is being given to raise 30 dollars and my brother stupidly spend 20 dollars last night seeing two movies so I let him borrow Soul Calibur V to sell.

Reminds me of my friend, who sold a game he borrowed from me. Didn't really care though, as he was a really good friend of mine, just something to laugh about years later.

I'm getting confused at your definitions of trade, borrow, etc. If they traded games, then they also traded ownership, meaning he had a right to sell it. Now you say you let him borrow Soul Calibur to sell. It doesn't sound like your brother will pay you back for this. Unless you are expected a later payment for the Soul Calibur he "borrowed", it is more of a gift than a borrow. Or is it a loan...? lol

Why on earth, after a trade, would you feel obligated to reimburse the person? Why on earth, after said bad trade, would you offer to give MORE than its worth? ($30 over the $20 you said earlier) I don't believe any of this....
