That's a 24% spread for season 6. Anyone else have anything like this??

I'm desperately trying to consume all of the PvT resources that I possibly can. I have been having some success using the 1 gate FE transitions that MC was using at IEM, such as 3 gates, no robo into heavily CB'd probes and a 3rd, then going up to 8 gates with blink, but still having trouble figuring out how greedy I can be with probes off of 2 base when I have very limited information. But still, 24% is pretty ridiculous.

What are you doing in your PVP that's making it so much higher might be a fair question. 8% is a much smaller gap than 16%.

doing my best to force people to expand in PvP. they don't much like it.. the average game is close to 16 (game) minutes.. which is almost longer than my average PvT game O_O

Well by looking at the match times, I would say that most of your wins are 2 base all ins judging by the fact that you should be taking and securing you 3rd around 13-14 minutes. But I also know that around this time if you are takking your third, if zerg is waiting for it they can just all in and kill you straight up because 9 times out of 10 they are on their 3rd going on 4th already which would also explain this game length

For PvT, I know thats around the time where (depending on the build you do) most toss will be 2 base with at least 2 collosus at this time which would explain the average time. Either your winning/losing before/after you hit a certain mass with your collosus

I dont know much about pvp to work out timings and whatnot because I know there are weird timings and whatnot that can be hit that i am completely unaware of.

Honestly, your PvP just seems amazingly strong compared to your other matchups. What league are you in? Maybe your PvP build simply is very refined which matters a lot in PvP?
Still you are winning against Terran.. If you're not on the reeeeaaaaal top end of the player-spectrum a little over 50% win in a matchup is pretty fine, I guess?

Why give real time? everyone uses ingame time to analyse timings... anyway I agree with the other guys, you seem to be highly proficient in PvP, have a good understanding of it and your true skill level, lies in the other two

well, I'm not really asking why the difference is so large just wondering how many others are having a similar problem

Ah okay, fair enough, I haven't analysed mine, but I'd imagine my win rates aren't as dramatic as that, TvT 60% TvP 55% TvZ 60% I feel would be a fair guestimation, there's certainly no match up I feel like I'm basically going to free win like your vP seems to suggest. Although a few seasons back my vZ was like that before everyone started using infestors.

7-21 in PvTs between 10-14 minutes (game time)I guess I gotta shore up against those 2 base timings if we want to get into reasons why :D

Nothing like that, my win rates are pretty normal, between 46 and 57%.
However i've pretty huge descrepency between my strats, both my TvZ and TvT mech opening have more than a 60% winrate. (my best build order is... 11/11 ... :D)

What's your playstyle in PvT? I very rarely lose in it, probably have a 70-80% winrate overall. I tend to be pretty immortal heavy, unless I feel like the situation warrants more greed and less 2 gas into 3 base pressure (for instance on half the maps if terran goes 2 rax expand I can just blow up half his shit 10-11 mins in while taking a 3rd, don't give a shit what he has to say about it).

I have the exact opposite lol, pvz and pvt are 60-70 ish and my pvp is around 40%. P op.

Well a couple of seasons ago I had TvT and TvZ at like ~75% and ~65%.
My TvP brought the overall winrate to about ~55% so I did not even dare check what it was. This was over hundreds of games.
I don't think skills translate very well to different match-ups in SC2.

Of course I have figured out later on that it's better to either rush or tech heavily early on as Terran, rather than going for the greediest builds. Also some new maps are better against protoss IMHO.

used to do some nexus first and lost to a lot of delayed 2 rax pressure as a result, as the build is pretty light on gas early on which means low sentry counts when this hits. nowadays I'm doing standard 1g fe's every game, usually zealot stalker stalker nexus on 30 or zealot stalker nexus on 26 or 27 into 3 gates, then either going up to robo shortly after if something is amiss or doing gw pressure off of those 3 gates while CB'ing probes and looking to take a fast 3rd a la mc vs puma on entombed valley in the iem finals

if you feel weak in mid game (which is normal) did you try some Creator builds or variations of it. If you want to aim for the lategame in PvT it seems really good and not that hard to execute.

Heh, after a few seasons with Toss and then Zerg, I just switched to Terran this season (goal is to play random )

It's not a big game pool yet (~60-70 games), but the statistics so far are quite interesting:
TvP ~67%
TvZ ~50%
TvT ~15%

I would expect all three to be below 50% since I just switched race so my MMR is old and I should be losing, but it seems that the understanding of the other two races helps, while my TvT shows just how better the players I'm being matched with are.
