EPTSo i've decided I don't want to play zerg anymore. ZvZ isn't as difficult as it is random and stupid. I don't like it at all, and I don't think its any fun to play. Its also around 60-80% of the games I play on ladder. I thought about it for awhile, and asked one of my bronze friends if I can borrow his account for a few days while I work on protoss builds. I've been using it for about a week now, I can see my game improving by leaps and bounds even though i'm only playing bronzies, i've gone 35-1.
I saw the mega improvement in my Protoss play just minutes ago when I hit a zerg on ladder, who ended up playing a 35 minute macro game with me. After winning, I had to ask him if he was smurfing, he said yes, and said he normally plays diamond zerg. I don't know if he was truthful, but its given me the confidence in my protoss gameplay, so I think its time to stop smurfing. Hopefully I don't get wrecked as soon as I jump back into platinum. As a side note, I won 35 games in a row, how did the ladder not promote me to silver?!
Now, about my keyboard! I have a Razer Black Widow Ultimate, and the switch for the A key likes to register anywhere from 0-5 times when I hit it. Razer said it was a bad keycap and sent me a new one, but it obviously didn't fix anything. The email they sent me today told me to cut the cord on my keyboard as close to the keyboard as I can, and send them a picture of the cut cord and the serial number to the board so they know i'm not ripping them off for a free replacement keyboard. Just seems a little strange to me, but ohh well, is this kind of thing normal?
