Shame I can't play on QL because I get about 150 ping, I only play on LAN with my brother. It puts all the other FPS games to shame. We usually play dm6, tourney 4 , tourney 7 and tourney 9, but mostly tourney9 because after playing lots of fps games my brother's rail started becoming really good >_> Love the game, easily my favourite along with BW. I'm really amazed at what the pros can do. I get a serious adrenaline rush when playing it. ROCKET @ DOORWAY HOP HOP TURN ROCKET @ PORTAL turn back HOP HOP TURN ROCKET @ DOORWAY Turn, I HEARD THAT SOUND - HE MAY BE THERE or THERE or THERE next, but most probably there, INTERCEPT HIM THERE / SHIT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE HE'LL MOST PROBABLY BE HERE OR THERE OR THERE!!! Once I tried to sleep right after dueling. Rest assured my subconsious was checking doorways, hopping and turning and shooting rockets everywhere and it was impossible to fall asleep | ||

secondly, while I agree ztn can favour defensive play it's way better than dm13 in that regard (can't pick a fight in YA corridors) thirdly, you cant call yourself a quake player if you don't master ztn. fourthly I suggest you watching this VOD http://www.twitch.tv/stermytv/c/4232 which is very informative fifthly, QUAKE FOR LIFE BITCHES | ||

ZTNDM3 (Blood Run) is a relatively middle sized map, if you think it's small then you should play Quakeworld's DM4 (Smallest, complex and hardest map to master). You are very well and truly able to hide on ZTNDM3 for hours on end, I remember going 1:1 for the first 9 minutes until taking the lead at the last minute, simply because we hid from each other. It also does not have every weapon nor power up. You're forgetting that green armour exists - it's small, but it's still a advantage considering with QL's armour system (Each armour doesn't have resistance, just extra AP count). Also the two yellow armours are a bit more forgiving to the players if they fail to time their items correctly and control them. They're far apart at each end of the map. Also two teleporters isn't much. I take it you have not played a map such as Aerowalk, at least the latest iterations that do not include stairs for teleporters. ♥ | ||
