I am on winter break and that gives me a lot of spare time. NA also decided to start getting patched today, so as a result, NA server has been down all day leaving me with little else to do...
*installs Empire at War - Forces of Corruption*
*installs Thrawn's Revenge: Imperial Civil War 1.3 Mod*

What I just did in those two sentences was set up the galaxy for a major war between the Imperial Remnant, The Empire of the Hand, and the New Republic.

By the way, my position in all of this is the Galactic Supreme Space Commander of the New Republic Forces.

What has happened so far

So far, I am in the third Era out of five in this galactic conquest. I defeated Thrawn at Duro however the empire that he built needs to be dealt with. The Imperials have been muchly weakened, but the fight is still far from over.

Info on what has happened between Grand Admiral Thrawn up to where I currently am

As I said earlier, the Grand Admiral was killed over a space battle in Duro. The current leaders of the Imperials and the Empire of the Hand are unknown. Leia Organa Solo is currently the leader of the New Republic. We have a couple of jedi's, Mara Jade and Corran Horn and some notable figures in our ranks are Admiral Ackbar and General Garm Bel Iblis

Operation Thrawn

So appearently Thrawn is still alive, or there is a copycat of his image. A space fleet over Duro was just wiped out by what was supposedly Thrawn. A joint task force lead by Ackbar and Booster Terrick is being sent to handle Thrawn. The objective is currently to find out where his main military bases are and to destroy his military capabilities.

Here is a more detailed layout of the plans. The goal is to knock out Fondor, a capital shipyards planet that contributes to a large portion of where Thrawn gets his ships.

The battle of Pakrik Minor went smoothly, no casualties.

The battle ensued in another relatively short battle. A journalist managed to capture a clip of the battle. I will probably record ALL of the major battles and take pictures for the rest of the shorter, more minor battles.

Battle of Mrisst

Admiral Siath's fleet was stationed at Mrisst at the time, and well, we obliterated him. However not without taking heavy casualties

By the end of the battle, I only had 6 capital ships left, a ISD(Imperial Star Destroyer), 3 MC90s and 2 MC80b with a handful of frigate ships and still about half of our ground contingent force left. To prepare for the final battle, I called in reinforcements from Mon Calamari to refill our capital ship supply.

However, before I could attack Fondor, the Imperials retaliated and shot down our space station and golan system in Pakrik Minor. My space fleet managed to push the imperials back, but at the cost of Admiral Ackbar. There is no clue whether he is dead or alive but he is currently missing in action. I hope to god he somehow made it through this.

At last, with an additional 4 MC80bs, my fleet was ready to move on to fondor and finish the long operation. Appeaerntly, most of the Fondor forces had fled and the result was a relatively easy victory. With that in mind, I'd like to conclude the campaign for the day. Fondor shipyards is successfully under New Republic Control.
