If there is one thing, man always forgets. It's what you did to her with your behaviour / your coldness. Do you feel how it is to be left outside alone without her? You do at least realize the "wall". Now she shows you what you did to her. Try to understand her and her behaviour. I'm pretty sure she got totally disappointed and hurt by your behaviour. You already opened yourself to her which may (for her) mean that you are ready for the next level of being together. Do something against that broken heart of yours. Your present I believe was a really good idea. I'm not sure, maybe I didn't read thoroughly but did you ever tell her how sorry you feel and even felt at that time? - Cause this may solve your problem

It's not that easy and once you feel the love again everything that might look like a lot of work will be solved in eaaaaaaaaase :D
