Hi guys!
Im currently working right NOW on the Global Game Jam, an activity to make an indy game in 48 hours!
Everything started yesterday, and we nailed a concept. Now we have today and part of tomorrow to finish up. Just a quick update on the first screen art mockups. Which version do you prefer?
Thanks! Version 1
Version 2

I'm not really sure what I'm looking at, but if I'm going to base something simply on the pictures I've been given I suppose I'll go with the second one.

You can't expalin the game at all to us?

Ill post the game once we are done with it. We are thinking of levels based on previous levels Blue ghosty guy is basically the ghost made from level 1 movements, this image is Level 2. The purpose is to get past thelevels collecting the fire orbs scattered around, making sure you dont hit other ghosts of previous levels.

Another update. Game character variations:

I prefer the first one, it gives me a "braid like" feel. Sick skills btw im jelly.

How many people are working on this? How do you do all that art in 48 hours?
|
if it has more than one level you could use both? like as the character/storyline gets happier it goes from 1st map to 2nd.
if only one level then i'd prefer the 1st

Your game is cool, kinda like that old school balloon fight, well not really, but the map configuration.
The behavior of the bad guys seems semi random and sometimes level with many are very easy, sometimes level with one, you can't do anything :D
