It's a bit late but let me start off by saying Happy Lunar New Year!
Recently, I heard a couple pieces of interesting information about former MBC progamers...
Firstly, Tyson stayed behind in Seoul during the Seol holidays. I'm not sure why he did that (maybe to practice more??) but while his teammates and coaches went back to their hometowns, Subeom stayed in the hostel. That's kind of sad.
Secondly, there's been some talk among MBC fans about former MBC Special Force player and uljjang Kim Jin Yu's (pictured above) upcoming debut as part of a kpop girl-group. Apparently the group is called "Pandora". Here are a few more pictures of Jin Yu:

I've mentioned Jin Yu before in this blog but just to refresh your memory, she used to play for MBCGame HERO+ in 2009 and 2010. In early 2011, the executives at MBC replaced their entire Special Force team with mostly ex-Estro players, who were subsequently recruited by Woongjin after MBCGame disbanded the team in August 2011. Jin Yu was mostly a reserve player for HERO+ but she did play in a few of their games. During that time, Lim Sura was also a reserve player for HERO+ but both of them did not stay at the hostel together with the rest of the team. Instead, they commuted to the Loox Center everyday for practice, arriving early and leaving before midnight so that they wouldn't miss the last train home.
On 31st December 2011, it was announced that Jin Yu would host a short Special Force 2 news programme called "Kim Jin Yu's Love Shot". I haven't watched SF for some months now so I have not seen it. Reportedly, Jin Yu will make her kpop debut with Pandora this coming March.
