Hello TL my name is Michael (aka CexAppeaL284) NA server. I'm a 21 year old student from the New Jersey currently studying at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in my senior year. Currently I'm in the process of relocating to Seoul, South Korea for a minimum of 6 months due to work. I currently expect to arrive in Korea by Feb 2, 2012. While I've done research on the area. I still will only know one other person in Korea, a friend of mine who is a member of the U.S military who recently purchased a house about an hour away from Seoul. He's not a huge Starcraft 2 fan but knows the game and South Korea very well. When I arrive he will be showing me around all the "hotspots" when it comes to tourists destinations, the nightlife, and also how to use the public transportation and such.
During my stay (me being such a huge sc2 junkie and all) I wish to visit the GOMtv set as much as possible and hopefully get to hit the town with a few of the players/casters if the opportunity arises.
My main point being....If there are any English speaking foreigners or Korean TLers currently residing near Seoul, South Korea and want to hang out and catch some GSL matches, go shopping, sightseeing, clubbing, and of course eat at some amazing resturants feel free to PM me for contact information! Also if anyone has any suggestions of great places to visit while in Korea please feel free to post and share your experiences. It will make the stay a lot more enjoyable knowing where the goods are! =) TL hwaitng!

You could tell more of what you like beyond SC2 and the GOM TV studio as well... Are you a fan of BBQ? I hear Korean BBQ is the best. Perhaps people can suggest local restaurants.

Indeed good point i will edit.

I live in Seongnam, South Korea, a southern suburb of Seoul (Pink line on the Seoul subway map). I normally attend all the GSL Finals that occur on the weekends. Feel free to contact me if you need any help getting adjusted to Korean life.

I know some people in Seoul and the surrounding areas. We go to 신촌 station a lot to eat at Jason Lee's bar/restaurant. Great burgers and poutine there.

I live around Sinchon in Seoul, I don't go to regular matches that much but I come to most TL events and BW/SC2 finals. PM me if you want to exchange numbers. Hope you have a great time in Korea man.
