Denmark and EU Terran

So I am officially going to be studying abroad next semester at the University of Copenhagen. Anyone who is from Denmark and want to tell me stuff about Copenhagen and living there I'd greatly appreciated. I can't believe I'm going to get to go. It's awesome.

Anyway.... Thanks to the sale I have preemptively purchased an EU account. I play zerg as my main over here but I decided to play Terran because FUCK YES. I placed in silver (thanks to a transformer blowing during one of my games and making me lose my connection), but I managed to win most of my games.

The reason I decided to play Terran over there is simple. I absolutely love mech play. It is the coolest thing in the world. 200/200 of soul-crushing metal in a slow unstoppable push. Defending drops or harass, controlling the map with hellions or vikings. It is just so fucking cool I can't get over it. Getting to use it and use it well was amazing.

Any Terrans who want to give me some advice on being a badass mechanical beast are welcome to give me some pointers. To recap: meching terrans and Danes- advice please?

Be actively using your hellions the entire game: drop harass, sending them to expos, controlling towers, just doing stuff in general with them. Banshees can also be a good way to do some harassment midgame if you're already making vikings.

You basically need to do some economic damage, otherwise the other player is going to greet your 200/200 push with 20 broodlords or other scary stuff if you're too idle.

Thanks! I like to park a few hellions outside their base and use them to sort of deny expos. I wasn't thinking about banshees though or maybe use autoturrets too. 20 broodlords does sound scary...

Autoturrets wouldn't really be good as a harassment tool. Mutalisks can pick off Ravens too easily. Use them as a meat shield for a fight though. They have 150 HP and 1 armor...that is surprisingly beefy for a spell. And always harass. I beat every Terran that doesn't cheese because they let me get 5 bases and 200/200 max tech in 20 minutes because they don't harass. Don't be that guy

Remember Denmark is a lot more expensive than America (a lot).
Are you gonna try to learn the language or?

We are a bike nation, So watch out :D
Well. To sum up Denmark in a few short lines.
We are a happy place. We are normal ranked very high on that chart.
We got universal healthcare, So if you break your leg or anything like that. Don't worry we got you covered.
As said before by Grovbolle. That Denmark in a expensive place to live. But for us Danes its normal i guess.
We are a relevant safe place to live. Crime is not high compared to other city's in the EU.
We love drinking, And you will learn that quick. We got no age limited on how old you must be before you may drink.
But you have to be 16 to buy beer and other stuff at the supermarket. And 18 at a bar/disco
We learn English from a very early age.
Many Danes can speak German as well.
And we play very much soccer and handball.

If you got other questions regarding Denmark in general or other stuff just ask away.

i my self don't live near Copenhagen. In fact i live in the other end of Denmark. Near the German border.
But i will help out as much i can :D

I live in Copenhagen and have studied at the university aswell. You are gonna have an awesome time!

The university is spread around town, so where you are going depends on your major. What is your major?
