So..... after 6 and 1/2 years of being completely useless to this wonderful website, I was FINALLY of some use to TL
My account was created on April 13th, 2005
I've tried to be as contributing as possible..... but let's face it, there's only so much a guy can do with just single posts.
So I kept on racking my brain...... How can I possibly give back to this community that has given me so much?

I'm sitting there watching Code A cause u know....  NaDa!!!!!!!
When I realized, there was no one making LRs that night.
DING DING DING!!!! TIME TO DO SOME WORK SEEKER!!!
I decided to try out an LR for myself. Sine I've seen http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/profile.php?user=drazerk do it so many times, I decided to try to copy his style. (this guy is baller btw)
It worked out preeeeeeety well actually~!

Watching the GSL and I'm like "you know what? Fuck it. I'm gonna LR the entire Code S today!!!"
*1 hr later* huff.... puff..... what the hell was I thinking!!!???!?!
*2 hrs later* PLEASE GOD MAKE IT STOP!!!
*3 hrs later* (fingers hurt at this point, and a strain on my left shoulder.... just praying that I don't become like Flash) OMFG THE PAIN!!!
*4 hrs later* OMFG!!! I IS DONE!! I IS ACTUALLY DONE!!!

I found out that MrCon, who did the D1 thread, was going to be unable to do it.

Just god awful..... it turned out nothing like MrCon's...... it was atrocious to even look at, but my mind set was "WE NEED A THREAD NOW!!!!!!"
And I posted on there that I would appreciate any sort of help.

I get about 4 PMs from ppl trying to help. One even from MrCon himself.
(WTF?! I CAN JUST COPY AND PASTE THE FORMAT AND JUST EDIT AS NEEDED?! HOLY SHIT I'M DUMB!!!)

LOL!! Instead of posting the format, I just copied and pasted the page itself..... which came out looking retarded of course.....
Third Attempt
FINALLY! IT FINALLY LOOKED LIKE A GSL THREAD!!!
But here came the hardest part..... finding out how the hell I'm supposed to edit this as the GSL goes on......

Throughout those 3 days, I honestly achieved more than the 6 and 1/2 wasted years I spent on TL. Starting meaningless threads, posting like an idiot, getting 2 warnings, I EVEN GOT BANNED ONCE T-T!!!! (actually twice, but I appealed my case to Empyrean and he unbanned me)
But honestly, I enjoyed those 3 days so freaking much!!!
As crazy as I am for saying this but.....

I love doing these threads now. And you can bet your ass that if Code S/Code A needs a thread, or needs LRs I'MMA BE THERE DAMN IT!!!!

Making live report threads is a bitch at first as you now know but trust me, after 5 or 10 you've pretty much memorized how they need to look and what you need to do.
The real bitch is you're required to sit there and update the thread in real time! 
But what I really want to say is:
Thank you Seeker. I know your full of crap and have probably contributed in ways you did or didn't realize before this point but everyone appreciates anyone that opens a live report thread

I know exactly how you feel man. I was the one doing the OP's for the WCG Korean Qualifiers at first, and it was a lot more work than I had previously imagined. I was lucky enough to get a lot of help from the usual names around the LR threads and that made a huge difference.
I stopped doing them after I posted a LR thread for a day of the Korean Qualifiers, and my power went out almost right after, and was unable to edit the post for an entire weekend XD
I've tried my hand a LRing as well, but it makes it very tough to enjoy the game at the same time, as you're constantly typing and trying to keep up with the game, especially during constant action sequences. I really have a huge appreciation for everyone who does the LiveReporting, as well as the posts every night for all the various tournaments. That being said, I've found that doing LiveReports is a great way to perfect your touchtyping skills, and by proxy, your APM in game. Unfortunately my new work schedule prevents me from staying up to watch the GSL like I used to, and I miss being around in the LR threads.
Big thanks to MrCon, Probe1, HawaiianPig, Drazerk and the rest of the guys that do the hard work so everyone else can sit back and enjoy the games, even if they can't watch them.

Thanks for the thread last night. LR thread makers go so unappreciated. I tried making one once and gave up 3 minutes in. TLPD linking, making polls, BBCode, making polls, etc. it's all so tedious.

just wait until you learn the secret on how you could have done it in a few seconds instead of 40 minutes.

All of the ADMINISTRATORS have CUSTOM icons while the PROLETARIAT labors under their typewriter-pokemon BOSSES. 99% of the compliments in NEWS go to EDITORS and they are the 1%.

But seriously what I've learned in the year and change on TL is you don't have to have your name on something to contribute and you don't have to receive recognition for others to appreciate you. A lot more people lurk and are quietly grateful than vocally thanking you. But I'll use this post to thank you for the LR again ^_^

I once found myself in a similiar situation while at work(!! :D): "shouldn't there be a thread for todays GSL by now?"
just went in the "last minute live report resource" thread I believe and copied the stuff.
Problem was, that day HuK thought the same thing but he just opened a god awful thread where he just said
like ... "great matches today x vs. y glgl gg" (still <3 huk)
so I asked beyonder on irc if he could edit huks post and he did with a little "LR stuff by onlinerobbe" on the top,
I was really proud
but... I didn't had to update, would love to do that someday, but I'm always at work during GSL and I can't watch it there T.T
edit: oh and since I'm at work during GSL times I can tell you, YES people do read the actual LR reports in the thread <3
