So I've only just recently discovered the amazing sight that is Debo on his BMM (Bad Mannered Monday) and after a bit I decided to help out. I've started to make some compilations of hilarious things that spew out of Debos adrenaline filled mouth during the heat of games. Since I dont think this should be a big advertisement blog I need some tips with the editing side. While I would say I dont do so bad at editing I know that it could defiantly use some tuning so some help would be much.

would you mind..
.. a) using the enter key to separate concepts in your text visually?
.. b) maybe give some kind of description what bmm is about?
.. c) defiantly is .. wrong.
.. d) all i see on the video i started watching is a guy playing and talking while doing so. what's that got to do with bm? just because he talks a little harsh? he doesn't troll his opponents in chat or anything. i can't see why this would be called bm. And i absolutely could not find anything funny. It seems to me like just normal random scenes from someones stream.

Debo highlight videos are the best highlight videos.

Suitable replacement for pimpest plays until someone picks up the slack.

MisterD the channel may be named bad mannered monday but that video is not about BMM its a ladder highlight which is why it is named as such. So if you would take that into account that would be nice. Plus, if I'm taking the time out of my day to try and spread the word about Debo and you correct me on proper grammar with the enter key What. Come on. Just posting something like your editing sucks or something would have made better sense.

hey i'm not trying to bash you :D if i read badmannered 6 times on my way to that video, that's what i expect. that expectation was turned down with seemingly normal content (sorry i didn't put too much more energy into seeing if i found that good, because it was just not what i was looking for). And the fact that you wrote just one small block of text just adds on top of that. Same goes for the misspelling, which i almost took as intended - it just made my initial bad impression worse.

If you want to take something constructive out of it: you seriously need to improve the way you present your content. Use proper titles, so people know what they will find, and make it look a little more user/customer friendly.

also, to your pleasing, here's some advice on your editing: i like that you don't use stupid fade overs or anything, but it's pretty hard to make out, which scenes belong to one "set" (like "oh another terran. ohhh another terran. oh yet another one! oh a terran mirror .. wait, is this still supposed to be an example of yet another terran, or is that a new thing like that's just an awesome game"). So maybe add some very quickly fade over effects in between these sets of cuts, to give your viewers a mental "ok so that's it for 'soo many terrans now', here comes another set of cut scenes". Or instead of fade overs, maybe a short black screen with two or three words of headline what the next few cuts are about. "The T-Mirror Streak", "Close TvT with Cloak Banshees". You should do something like that, just provide some structure and keep the viewer from repeatedly wondering, how a cut fits in line with the last three scenes, although it actually is not supposed to.

See now that's what I wanted and I know that I present information badly but really that's more laziness than anything. Though I seriously do appreciate the feedback and to be honest this is the first project like this. So it's still a work in progress and will get better though I need to find some sort of system that works for me. Anyways if you have more help PM me or something or just comment on the next videos coming up. BTW Bad Mannered Mondays will come up but I decided to go ahead and skim through the entire archive first so it may be a while so it will come but delayed. So thank you for the help and not being a douche about it =].
