Oscar was my favourite bird since the day we bought her. She's cute, chubby, playful and plenty of words I can use to describe her. Oscar is a female bird, but I take it as a male because she looks more like a guy to me. We all love her very much! I usually play with her when I came back from class and at least take a look at her. She's very thin and skinny when the day we bought her, but like after 3 months or so she became so fat and chubby! She kept eating as we put foods inside the cage. And when you're holding her you can feel the weight of how heavy she is hah!
She is very very playful on the first few month, being very active running and playing around. She even bites us when she's angry or whatsoever. But as time goes on she gets chubbier and less active. She's a kinda lonely bird, and she tend to sleep like the whole day inside the cage and what she does is sleep, eat and then continue sleeping and eating. She does have a boyfriend too! On the picture below, but recently I think they were not together and she's being lonely all again.

As time goes on she's getting really fat and heavy on weight! We try not to give her food in the noon or evening but only at the morning and night. And finally she really gets a little thinner. But still not being as active as before. We try to bring her out and play with her but she still keeps a very soft and quite personality and she's not like before. But during October we started to notice that she's getting skinnier and skinnier, she seems to be eating alot but she's still not as chubby as before. Last week, she seems to be very weird, shaking her head all the time. I think she ate something wrong or maybe ate too much. Oscar vomits and her face doesn't looks good at all. We cleaned her up and let her rest as she's trying to fit herself. And I think this happens for like a few days already.
This morning as I woke up, I went down and I saw Oscar with her very tired and unusual face. She seems to be very tired and struggling with herself. So we decided to bring her to the doctor tomorrow since we are kinda busy today. During the evening we took Oscar out as she's very very very skinny already, she seems sick and is trying to vomit things out from her mouth. But Oscar just can't wait for tomorrow as she collapse from choking herself. She tries to vomit but she choke herself, I don't know what causes that to Oscar but maybe I think she ate something wrong or maybe she ate a little too much. We all broke into tears as we saw that happened, she was my favourite bird and the bird I spent time with the most and thinking of the most. I just don't know why she's leaving us so fast. Today is the day that I will never forget. Oscar, no one can ever replace you. I hope she's in a better place now. I love you Oscar. 11th November 2011.
