EPTWhat better way to remind myself to make one since I just achieved Masters on SEA as well ^^ yay for me. My laddering is going ok, I'm still confused as to how I played so little(logged) hours this week. I thought I played a lot because I feel exhausted. I'm 34-25 on SEA and 5-7 on NA so far.
Well I played MVP Tails in a playhem.. Got my ass handed to me, he played standard too so that made me a little frustrated that he owned me so easily ^^
Apart from that not much has happened. My practice days end up turning into custom games with whoever I could find(usually ZvT & ZvZ's), and then I get frustrated at losing in ZvP because of forge expands on ladder.. But lately I've just been roach/ling or baneling busting them if they show a sign of weakness, else it ends up to be a looooong macro game that I usually dominate in(last 3 FFE games I've played that turned into macro games, they were floating 2k/1k @ 150 supply vs my ~100/100 200 supply) so I don't think I won by outplaying them, I think they lost to themselves.
I watch Machines stream sooooo much now. It's not as entertaining as some streams but it's VERY educational. It's like free coaching. I learnt when I should take my third against an FFE, how to do it safely, what I have to look for when scouting against an FFE(tech or mass gate etc), overall I think it's helped my ZvP overall. I suggest any Zerg who has troubles, or just wants to learn things to watch Machine. He answers questions in his chat after every game too, his fan interaction is on the same level as Incontrol, but with less dickheads in the chat.
I also hit my first 'named' player on the NA ladder, EG Evoli.. He ended up 6 pooling me when I went hatch first ): I'm also starting to hit people with clan tags of pretty major clans like VP & vVv. On SEA I'm hitting people with the SPR tag, some TA as well so I'm slowly getting there.. Slowly! :p
That's really all that happened this week. I played a few 2v2's with my gold friend, she's pretty bad but it was just for stress relief and fun. We never get angry at each other for dicking around ^^
