I bought a box on eBay a few weeks ago and it came today.
36 packs set me back about 110USD which is fairly cheap converted to AUD, a lot cheaper than it is in Australia (6.99 a pack are you kidding me EBgames?)
Tbh I didn't have the highest hopes for my pack, I really hoped to get out some nice vampires, and if I was lucky a Garruk or a Saint Traft. My first pack I got a Runechanter's Pike and I got annoyed, very annoyed lol I didn't what I was expecting but it was a very lackluster booster. I kept going through mainly hitting average rares, and then I hit my first goody; 3rd pack in a drew a Kessig Wolf Run, 5th pack I hit Sulfer Falls and I wasn't too picky, dual lands are very profitable as far as the boosters are concerned. When I hit my first mythic I was a little giggly, it was a pretty sweet card Angelic Overseer, fairly nice, what made it better was there was also a foil Daybreak Ranger inside made a nice double up. After going through heaps of packs I got some great cards: Stromkirk Nobles, Grimgrin, Snapcaster, Mikaeus and it was pretty sweet, 3 mythics and Nobles/Snapcaster + dual lands are a pretty draw. I only had a few packs left at that point maybe 5 packs and I was saying to myself I wouldn't get a Liliana or Garruk sadly. 3rd pack in I slid out the cards and slowly shuffled through them, I looked at the rare, pretty trashy Sever the Bloodline no gives a fuck. Then there was 1 card behind the complimentary token... Liliana of the FUCKING VEIL. FUCK YEAH.
Overall I got some pretty decent box in my opinion, I did a quick pricing of my rares and give or take 10 dollars, the rares alone are worth 130 not counting foil value. I probably won't be selling my Liliana, she's a real keeper  !

Pretty nice. I opened a snapcaster and liliana aswell, which pretty much pays for the box (if I intended to sell.. ever).
Snapcaster is seeing play in ALL formats, and liliana will probably be a fairly dominant planeswalker in standard until innistrad rotates out, so gj!

I personally haven't gotten a box of Innistrad yet, mostly been working on playing drafts and trying win packs that way. But there is something special about opening a box and something extremely enjoyable as you observe your spoils  .

I was just in the city today, bought some cards for a deck I'm working on. Came home feeling very satisfied with what I'd gotten - I'm glad you got some nice pulls from your box as well. =)

Yesterday on MTGO draft I pulled Mikaeus, Garruk, and Bloodgift Demon as my three rares, lol. Liliana sells for 20 tickets right now, wonder what the prices are IRL (also is that a foil?). Actually i see a Grimgrin, that guy is absolutely broken in limited lol
I miss infect, I loved the interaction. We'll see if Innistrad block is as good when it's all done. I already like the rares/mythics though, they are far less bomb-ish and more manageable than in SOM. I especially like that some are 1-3 cost that are strong but with big weaknesses. It makes limited a lot more fun and it's less about oh, Sword of Body and Mind turn two GG.
edit: Do you play constructed? It's such a pity to waste those packssss... draft with your friends!!

Boxes should only be about $130 AUD locally which may work out about the same considering shipping.
Garruk doesn't count as a rare technically as he flips.

Hehe, I live in Sydney and most stores stock is pretty complete but slightly overpriced, I haven't bought individual cards since Rav. I hope the next set in Innistrad is nice, I was pretty annoyed to miss Mirrodin  .

Argh, I missed Scars/Besieged completely , Innistrad plays pretty straightforward at the moment, although I think that , as well as a lot of the spells being fairly weak. I play maybe once a month, at the local store but they all play for stakes :/ my friends hate playing draft, they all play different older blocks.

I bought a box on release day. I pulled 3 Lilianas and a Foil Liliana, got the foil lilly and a regular in one pack. Over all I got 13 Mythics in the box. Made my money back 4 times over on those cards alone

no offense man but this seems very suspect. wizards has a print run so things like this dont happen. then again innistrad's print run is notoriously goofy with things like two of the same uncommmon in one pack.

For sure. My friends make me pick boxes for them now when they buy them. I've tried to explain that my powers only work for me, but they don't seem to understand T.T!

I would buy physical cards if I had a decent place to play in my City. MTGO does make up for it decently though. Haven't done any drafting or sealed in about a week, all my sealed decks have been 2-3 curse rares followed up with garbage commons and uncommons!

No constructed, limited only.
I played limited back during IPA and then nothing for a while, then recently SOM and now Innistrad, fun fun fun MTGO.
