This costume is much more simple than my previous costumes. Mostly because, well, I just made a baneling costume for Blizzcon and now I only have a few days to finish this before the Oct 26th deadline. I'm rather in a rush (yet again), so you'll have to excuse how brief this is thus far.
Anyway, my second most played character in League of Legends (after Nidalee, of course) is Talon! I'm particularly fond of his Renegade skin, so I decided that will be my costume!
First, after researching, I sketched out a quick concept (yes, it looks pretty much like the male version):

Then I went to Value Village in search for a purple sweatshirt, then the fabric store to get some trim and material for the cloak.
I laid them out and they looked fairly close to Talon's actual colors:

I sewed them on and some trim for the bottom:

I also added a HUGE zipper. Couldn't find a silver one, so I went with black.
I cut out his cloak bits in foam and trimmed the blue fabric. I also made black casings for the blades and the little black bit for his upper cloak blades:

I tried on the jacket with my bandanna and it looks pretty good!

Now I just have to cut the blades and armor and paint them and the cloak.

I'm supposed to have Cho'Gath as my third character (I'm solo top on my team), but I really don't think I could pull off that costume.

I'm not even sure how I'd approach that. Maybe a ton of upholstry foam? I could do the uber fancy expanding foam and carving, but that would be really expensive. Plus, I don't want to try to make those arms sturdy, they would be soooo heavy, which means I'd need to wear a vest and then I'd have to plan the rest of my costume around that!

Hahaha, something like that.
I wear most of them when the opportunity presents itself. Like I wore my Haruko outfit to the AFK Tavern's super hero night (it's a bit of a stretch, but it worked). I wear my Aries costume to music festivals/raves often. I've worn my Faris (FFV) costume to multiple conventions. And I plan on wearing my Nidalee costume for Halloween!

EPIC! I made an Amumu costume as I'm a tanker. (almost prom king skin remake) I ended up ditching the sash as it just seemed weird but the rest turned out well.
I wish I had the confidence to post pictures as well.

Some people love cosplay, others like eyes and cameras pointed at them (whether it be because they expose a lot of skin or because their costume is actually good).
