Hi. I'm Hunter and I'm 19.
Okay so lately I've been getting increasingly lonely and I'd kinda like to... not be? I haven't had proper friends for a while now and I thought I was fine with it but long busrides to and from college have made me realize otherwise. I'd really like somebody to just talk to about things or play some games with.
A good idea might be to try to make friends at college but I'm socially retarded and have no idea how to approach people at all, so... yeah. And you guys are on TL so I already know you're awesome.
I don't do all that much tbh. I stay in my bedroom most of the time, on the computer. I like listening to music and watching tv shows when I'm not playing games or watching starcraft. I like anything from post-hardcore to grunge to electronica. Shows I like watching are Breaking Bad, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Curb Your Enthusiasm and the Vampire Diaries. There are a bunch more but that's enough. I also like a few animes, my favorites being Death Note and Code Geass.
So yeah, that's about it. If you'd like to know more, send me a PM or add me on steam if you wanna play some starcraft or whatever. I have an EU account and an NA account.

now this seems very arbitrary, i think its unlikely to make real friends (not just buddies you play games with online) this way. best of luck though.

Yeah, most of my best friends are online, I find that I don't have much in common with real life friends even if they do play LoL ~_~. The closest IRL gamer friend I have is a SC2 player. This probably stems from the fact that I don't like to talk about LoL with rl friends because they don't make sense.

Yeah, there's this too. I don't seem to have anything in common with the people around here other than maybe liking a few of the same bands. Everyone that seems to game just play consoles, yuck.

My irl friends and I have a lot in common and a lot not in common. We all play games sure, but we all enjoy different types of games. We all love music and playing music, some bands the same, a lot different. What makes us such good friends is the fact that we don't have to be doing much to have a good time and enjoy ourselves. We all love to talk and/or argue and we can just hang out doing nothing but that for a few hours...
So just because people play console games it doesn't mean they can't be good friends  Friendship isn't about having everything in common, in fact i'd say it's a good thing to be different in a lot of ways because it gives you more to talk about and do. I would never play console games by myself (except maybe assassins creed) but I love playing console games with friends when they are over at my house or i'm at theirs.
Anyways good luck finding TL friends There's a good bunch of people here.

I've always found it hard to talk about LoL in real life cuz I just have no idea what there is to talk about.. everything is so situational..

I'm so lonely right now. It's fridayafternoon, I'm at the library alone, with no friends because I just moved to a new class and I don't know anybody, plus no1 comes to school on friday. I should have just gotten balls and talked to people, but I was so pussy in class. Fuck life. It's either you take the initiative to make friends, or you're lonely as fuck and being depressed that you have no friends, when it's your fault. It's not like there is a law that says you can't go up to people and talk about something you have in common with them. I hate me, sometimes I'm so pussy, all in my head too. Like wtf, it's not like these people are cooler than me. They just hang out in their groups, but I'm so pussy to even say hi or whatever. Last friday, I got banned because I was so bored. This friday, time to cut myself in the bathroom. Fuck, I hate fridays now.

Join a club or two on campus . There's sure to be something you're interested in, if not, try something totally new! There should also be activities related to whatever you are majoring in (talks or other social gatherings), these are great ways to meet people as well.
