I've played every day this week \o/
I ended up laddering today because all my friends decided to play in tournaments or just not login, so I thought I'd might as well play.. But playing on SEA.. I only lose to 1 base ZvZ since I always expand, so I lost a game to end my winning streak at 12
But all this week I've been getting back to where I was before I went away on my little trip.. So I've lost a few games with my friends where I shouldn't have just because I miss something because it's all coming back to me, but now I'm pretty much about a tier below where I was(I'd say low masters instead of mid masters)
I'm going to start participating in tournaments now so I should have a little bit more to blog about next week, so this one is going to be short unless I can rabble on for a while.
MLG! That's what I can rabble on about. I watched as much as I could without sacrificing sleep. As per my expectations, Stephano lost, and Polt got to PuMa. Then to my amazement, MC beat Ret, IdrA and MKP.. And IdrA beat HongUn, BoxeR and Bomber but falling to MC. I was suprised at IdrA's results seeming that up until IEM China he was doing pretty bad, losing to people he shouldn't, but I'm glad his back now. Ret was a little bit of a let down. I expected him to do soooo well since his soooo good.
The finals were meh, the extended series rule is killing the excitement, just playing 2 games at the least to finish up the day is pretty pitiful, and the games were lack-luster too. I'm glad a foreigner won, and I'm pretty happy that MC got the Code S spot. Hopefully providence will be a lot of fun to watch ^^. I'm glad iNcontroL was inspired to do well for the next MLG because his always been a great personality in the community despite his hypocritical nature. His probably one of my favourite Protoss to watch when I'm losing focus. I hope he goes to Korea to train for a lengthy period of time to shut all the haters up.
Time to answer some questions people have asked in my other blogs but I haven't gotten around to answering them:

My name is Jamie, I'm 19, born april 22nd, I'm Australian with a touch of German blood. I enjoy SC2, Anime and model boats. I like jägermeister shots, chicken, water and coffee. I hate anything with Chocolate in it, cheese and sweet drinks. Uhh.. for things I don't like and like not revolving around food.. I don't like dogs despite having two of them. I love cats hence why I have 3 of them.. I can't really think of anything else.
I went to primary school in Doonside, and then moved up to the blue mountains a few weeks before graduating. From there I went to a public high school just outside my front door in Winmalee(Just outside of Springwood) and after finishing school this is where I ended up. That's all :p

Do more of these please. I'm really curious to how this turns out. What do your family think of your journey to become a pro-gamer? Are they supportive?

I will do more, don't worry!
My parents are pretty supportive of me and my quest. They know I'm passionate and will stick to my goals, and because of that they believe I can do it I guess. They're my income at the moment so I try to help as much as I can around the house, cleaning, feeding animals, lawn care, cooking etc, just to take some of the load off of my parents. My sister doesn't really care what I do. I don't really mind it, we're pretty close but we don't pester each other about jobs etc, just fun stuff. So yeah, my family has no clue on what pro gaming means or what it is, and I've yet to bring up Day9 Daily #100 or the Star-nation preview to them yet, once I actually get my foot in the door I'll show them how my 'workplace' functions I guess.

I know I don't need to play 9 hours a day to perform. I want to play that much so I know how to react to timings, and know timings down to the T. How to perform well late game against certain compositions and how to macro and micro efficiently. I want to become the best, and I don't think just knowing and being able to multi task let you participate on the pro level. Intelligence and training will. That's just my opinion though.
Anyways, that's all I guess.. If you want to play with me on NA add Monk.621 if you want to play with me on SEA add me Monk.617
