Stutter Step Trainer Android App

kimchi427 United States6 Posts October 10 2011 20:42 GMT #1 After reading ZenithM's post about using a metronome to practice stutter step micro for a variety of units, [G] Practicing marine stutter step micro, I got inspired to create an Android app that basically acts as a convenient way for people to hone their stutter step micro and get all the timings perfect (To clarify, this app acts as a metronome. This app is used in conjunction with Starcraft 2 on the computer). Check it out and tell me what you think Stutter Step App

For example, when you're at your computer, you can open up a micro map and use this app to help practice your stutter step with a unit. I made it so as to make it so that you dont need to manually change the values on the metronome (which doesnt contain the exact tempo for some units). This app just makes it more convenient and easier to switch between units.

kimchi427 United States6 Posts October 15 2011 22:33 GMT #10 @John Madden Basically it acts as a metronome. Each unit has its own unit cooldown, and this app has preset tempos for each unit. Everytime you hear a *click* or the light flashes to the other side, the unit will be able to attack, regardless of whether the animation is still playing or not. Basically just press "hold position" or "stop" whenever you hear the click (make sure enemy unit is in range) , and you will be stutter stepping like a pro @Mobius_1 haha thanks for the correction. gonna fix that as soon as possible
