I've only played for 2 days this week because my mouse is being a dick, and I can't afford a new one at the moment
Controlling banelings is near impossible and infestors too. I miss click a lot with mutas as well, so I decided instead of being frustrated and losing to people I know I can easily beat I will just simply not play. I've been working out a lot more, going out with friend and organizing my little 4 day holiday with them too, so this blog thing is going to be a little short and sweet.
I played the first two days of NA patch release before my mouse started frustrating me and I didn't really notice any difference in ZvP/T. In ZvZ a lot of my friends have started going upgraded Roaches into ~5-10 mutas to clear out overlords, harass, deny bases and force spores and you can always switch back into them when you clear any remaining anti air. It gives a little diversity to the matchup and can hold off timings from Roach Infestor really easily.. But Ling Muta you're in a bit of a pickle because your mutas are ~20 seconds too late and you'll be out numbered so you need spores down, and hydras will slow you down even further so you're kinda forced into going bane muta. But it's easy to scout ling muta so you shouldn't really get into that situation. Just a little theory crafting and testing. I don't think I'll use it in games that matter until I know how well it actually works.
I've been watching GSL/GSTL when I've been home and noticed the 11/11 wasn't really changed so since it's been so popularized from MLG, I'm still going 14 hatch 14 pool.. It's a little worse economically in my opinion to a 15 15 but I feel in ZvT it's worth it just in case they are. I've only ever faced 2 11/11's and won both of them because 1 was proxied on testbug in the middle of the map and the other was on metal where they floated the rax down onto low ground(close air). I don't really have much to say about it.. It's a gamble to do it just like every cheesy all-inish opener.
I haven't seen too many zerg GSL games because as I said I've been pretty busy but I don't think there is any difference in any of the matchups, so I'm pretty grateful the matchups haven't changed too much.
Any ways.. I'm off to watch GSTL. Thanks for reading again ^^
I promise after I come back I'll buy a new mouse and start practicing hard!
