So today I wanted to try to be korean. I played 30 games of sc2. I didn't actually think I'd be able to do it but I did. My eyes kind of hurt so I had to put some eye drops in, but other than that there were no other casualties. So I know what you are thinking. "The other casualty is the amount of time you sunk into playing a video game... one you arn't even that good at!" (platinum). But wait, this is teamliquid. You won't judge me for spending most of my day playing sc ^^. (I hope)
Anyway, the subject of the blog. Well I guess this was the first time I played 30 games of sc2 in a day. Well, at least the first time I have kept track of myself playing 30 games of sc2 in a day. But, what I really intended this for was the first time I have written any kind of blog. So here is how that came about.
I moved back in with my parents after I graduated in spring with a degree in civil engineering. My main group of friends who I have hung out with over summer all went to community college so they are about a year behind where I am. So that leaves me, my parents and my parents little dog (the cutest little fluff ball known to earth). Oh and my ex-girlfriend, but we haven't actually spent time together, she just texts me every so often. I spend most of my time playing star craft, exercising, sleeping or skateboarding. (Well its technically a skateboard with longboard wheels..I just kind cruise around some nights listening to music) Oh and I spend a lot of time lurking on here.
Well, with my vast amount of time that I have acquired I have recently discovered the blog section of the website. My first was RedJustice's piano picture blog. I picked that one because my sc2 tag name is JusticE (sorry if I bm'd any of you, I do it to make myself feel better <.< ) but more importantly there was some hint of drama in the title. I probably should have put some hint of drama in my title now that I think about it. Well technically I could still change it now but then I would have to remove what I am saying right now. Oh well.
I think that this is enough for now. If you guys show some love I'll try to keep updating this. Comments, critique and questions welcome.
One last thing though... Over the past few months I have really been alone. I got my family but other then that I haven't really hung out with friends too often. I imagined getting a job would be easier so I hadn't really imagined that I would need to make new friends out since I thought it was be brief. But I have been learning to be happy alone so I think that is something good coming from this. I would also like to extend my gratitude to all you faceless names out there for providing me with entertainment when myself isn't good enough.
Oh gosh one more last thing.
I have a decent amount of money in the bank and I have an urge to travel since I am unemployed. If any of you fine people have thoughts or knowledge on that throw it at me. I would be traveling alone. Oh and I am from California..and 22

For Travel, you have to do this.
Go backpacking with friends in Europe. You will remember it as by far the greatest vacation in your life. Try not to spend too long in the big cities but try and hit up everywhere on your way through. It's a crazy ride that I learned so much on, and experienced so much.

This blog is so schizo haha
As for travel, i would look into some kind of european tour, stay the night in hostels (they're cheap) and just go sight seeing, exploring wherever you end up. Shouldn't be too expensive, but i think it'd eb much better with a friend or two. And the randomness would suit you, by the sound of it.

Judging by the title, I thought this would be something completely different.
Thank god. I mean, Girl Blogs is one thing but... yeah, anyway, cool first blog

well luckily most of use here won't judge you for playing sc2 (or any game for that matter) all day, as frankly, a lot of us spend just as much time in game as we do on TL itself lol well at least i do, spending most of my time on sc2/TL rather than live in the physical world, which sucks total ass. And cool blog, 30 games isnt that easy, ive done it a couple of times, rofl tho i had to actually get off skype for most of the day because i wasnt talking to anyone, being totally immersed in the game and music. Funny cuz i was also unemployed with a bunch of money, but instead of travelling, i just took the time to sit here alone, and play games and smoke/drink, even though i quit both drinking and smoking almost all together. Funny how i dont regret a damn thing, my friends are on skype for the most part, and playing games is the best part of my life, lol some people laugh at that, but hey, im happy to be able to BE happy just playing games and talking to friends. anyways, good luck bra, hope you get what your looking in travelin, and on the ladder lol. GG GL

:D Still can't believe some people read that whole blog! Blog section is the best. <3
It's pretty good to be alone (for a reasonable amount of time). You can read, or do some artwork, or just be outside and other solitary kind of things that are really awesome. ^_^ gl with the job though! I'm sure you will make plenty of friends there once you find one.

Buddy... we have a lot in common. I moved back with my parents after graduating in the summer with a degree in infrastructure engineering. Most of my friends either flunked a year, entered a year late, or did co-op programs (I opted out of my optional co-op year to finish my degree in four years). I've been relatively alone for the last couple months - only meeting my closest friends a couple times a week, haven't been clubbing or partying at all. I'm also 22 years old!
TL is a great place for finding people with similar interests and reading up on how other people view/enjoy e-sports. I don't know about your 30-game marathon though, maybe you should have spent the hours on job search ._.

Like OpticalShot said I think its more important to focus on that job search lol. Of course its great to spend sometime playing SC2, even if its more than usual. However, you definitely shouldn't the whole day doing it.

Thanks for all the love errbody, kind of funny how a lot of us have something in common. Especially OpticalShot..too much in common .
As far as traveling, I would be willing to travel pretty far (preferably Europe or South Korea) my only concerns are that I would be traveling alone and that I assume that most places are getting pretty cold soon. (Spoiled in southern california, L.A. county to be more specific). I was looking at hostel kind of places in South Korea and they had one that sounded pretty interesting.. It was 20-30 bucks a day..Included breakfast and internet. For some reason South Korea feels like a safer place to go but I do want to go to europe as well. (I could oogle at castles and stuff )
As far as the job search goes I try to apply to 3 jobs a day, although to be honest it has been a little less lately. As far as looking for a job yesterday, I did contact someone in the Navy about their civil engineering division and asked them a few questions. I have had about 6 in person interviews since I graduated though no offers yet.
But yeah being alone has its perks. I finally read the last few books in the Wheel of Time series. I really like the new author.
Thanks again for all the love, a few of you made me lol in real life.
