Ok, there's this giant dragonfly right outside my window that got caught on a spider web. The dragonfly has a wingspan of roughly 3 inches, so it's a pretty big one. It's flailing around like mad. Perched on the wall is one big ass spider. The total leg span is about an inch, so not that big, but it's abdomen has a diameter close to 2 cm, so it's quite a fatty. Personally, I really like Dragonflies since they eat mosquitoes, and I hate spiders since they kill me in one bite. So my question to TL is, should I rescue the Dragonfly from the spider, or watch it get eaten?

Oh shit! A fight just broke out! The spider walked up to it and started poking it. The dragonfly flailed like mad and hit it a couple times with its loose wings. The spider backed off. Sorry for the poor pic, I have a pretty shitty camera, and I had to rush the picture in the nick of time.
The spider jumped onto the dragonfly and sunk its fangs into the dragonfly's neck...
The dragonfly flailed around wildly, battling the spider back...
The spider retreated further, allowing the venom to take effect before his next move...
Then he crawled back onto the dragonfly. The dragonfly is no longer flailing around, but only twitching...
The spider wrapped its legs tight around the dragonfly's body like a choke hold, not allowing it to struggle any longer...
Now this is where I had to make my decision. I checked the poll, each side was tied 15-15. I had to make a decision that would satisfy both sides equally. Here's the final result:

Dragonflys are predators, they eat other insects. Extinct ones like Meganeura actually ate small frogs and shit.

I know it sounds merciful to save the dragonfly, but really, the spider's survival hinges on eating whatever gets caught in its web. If you cheat it out of a meal, you risk condemning it to death.

They dont actually eat their prey, they drink them. Their bodies produces chemicals that liquifies the inside of their prey so then can basically sip out their organs, muscles etc.
