Small Subwoofer on Laptop

I always wondered if the smallish subwoofer on my Asus G73SW would ever be of any use. In normal play and other stuff, it really couldn't do anything so far as I could tell. It was basically plug things into an external sound system or simply experience a slightly better than average default laptop audio.

Then X Japan started playing.

This is the most captivating laptop speaker produced music I have ever listened to.

I have a subwoofer in mine and I can clearly say that the sound is 'very' good. I can easily ear the lower frenquencies in music.

But I ALWAYS use headphones so I don't use it many times.

If anyone is interested in quality audio on a laptop. The Dell XPS 15, 17 are really good.

You might have to enable it. Mine was default off.
