Hi, im in need of daily routines. I've been sick/depressed for 3 years and therefore i've had no routines at all. I could go to bed at 9 am one day and 9 pm the other. It was really hard to figure out what to do with the time and i felt stressed all the time. Get really depressed thinking about all i could have done but there's nothing i can do about it now, it belongs to the past.

I just started studying some courses at a university and i feel like i need to have some routines so i can get stuff done during the days. I've got a alarm-clock that i've set to 9am. That's all i've done so far . The things i want to fix is i want to wake up at a reasonable time so i can study and be done with it so i can reward myself the rest of the day. I want tips on stuff i can do to help me follow these routines and not go back to my old style.

I know this may sound silly for many of you guys but i have no control over my life at the moment and i need to change that. I think it would make me a happier person.

Exercise is always good. Weight lifting gets you nice and exhausted without requiring the sweat of running or something. If there's a team sport you like, like basketball, you'll get worn out and have fun doing it.
I'm not stupid, a marauder just shot my brain.

This is not meant to be harsh but you need some actual responsibilities and things to do that can force you to have a routine.

Get a job, try working out regularly, go to class (?), etc.

Well I have been in the same situation as you, sort of. What always greatly helped for me was a very strict eating routine. This will help you chop the day in tiny parts, which you can fill with usefull things.

Routine:

9 am - breakfast
11 am - cofee + a small snack
12 30am - lunch
3 pm -drink + small snack
6 pm - dinner
10 pm - drink + snack

The times of course are varibale, but just set some boundries. after 10 am I won't eat breakfast anymore, I just wait till 11 for a snack.
Now you can just fill the gasps with things for example:

breakfast - snack 1 = study
snack 1 - lunch = GSL
lunch - snack 2 = study
snack 2 - dinner = SC2
dinner - snack 3 = time with friends / hobby etc.

Hope this helps a bit!
We know nothing.

Usually routines are forced on someone - ie they get a job, have to go to school, etc. If you are struggling to be productive, I'm not sure arbitrarily assigning yourself a routine that has no actual consequences is going to do anything. I hope I am wrong and that you find your motivation and ability to follow a routine - arbitrary or not. Good luck!
It's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback.
