If you do decide to grow out a beard before shaving it, please do look into a way to use it for a good cause. I know people have grown out their hair to donate towards cancer patients (Locks of Love) maybe there is something similar for beards. | ||

I also approve of the gf suggestion to look into other sources of income. Crafts are a hard sell and not a very stable market from what I have seen. You could have tons of interest one day and then nothing for months. | ||

I am a school photographer hahah I go to schools all over Southern Arizona and do year book, Ids, and picture packages for students,staff and teachers. Its actually one of the funner "real" jobs Ive had.And can be pretty profitable booth in promoting my balloons/magic and specially when driving out of town. | ||

I want a John Petrucci/Jesus beard but all I can grow atm is mexican fuzz moustache, some chin hair, and that dirty crappy neck hair that is impossible to completely shave off. Basically a hobo beard, except not the cool kind of the thin and dirty looking ones that make people want to shave them off themselves. Hopefully I can get something more respectable by the time I'm 20 or so :S | ||

That medal of honor pic looks awesome. I have actually seen on on another beard blog and instantly wanted one like that haha @pred470r The medal of honor beard pic is trimmed on the sides and front heavy. I would say thats about 8 months of growth on average @Thekefka Ya gf's, parents, friends etc will nag and tell you they don't like it and all that. You just have to be yourself and fight through it! @leser Ya eating is starting to get to be a bit of a hassel. It's all worth it though.
