EDIT: Sorry, that was a bit terse of me. let me explain why. I used to do 1/1/1 all-ins, but I decided some time ago that if I ever wanted to improve as a player, I needed to go for a fairly quick expand and play standard. I outlined this in my initial blog post here.
Plus, you don't learn a lot by all-inning every day on the ladder.

As toss..the best/most solid opening you should go for pvt is 1 gate FE.
As terran you should go 1 rax gasless FE into 3 rax into fast medivacs. (factory before other gas). I find this the most solid
2 Rax expo is the other solid opening on larger maps.
Other builds are rather map dependent.... although 2 base 3 fact is possible, i don't like it.
Want to run games later?

I usually go for a 1 rax FE or a 2 rax expo. I'm certainly not having build order problems; playing standard generally doesn't. And I'm not really sure why I'd make 3 factories in TvP...

I think it was sjow but it was a semi-popular style for a few weeks.
So is the problem midgame? If then what are you trying to accomplish during the midgame? What kind of game state are you trying to create?
Also...are you sure you're constantly making probes? I know you have that issue -___-...

I'm not sure you understand the goal of this blog. The goal of this blog isn't to solicit TvP advice or understand the matchup better, even if that was the goal of my practice: The goal of this blog is to be glad I don't play Protoss and don't have to fight against the 4 warpgate rush in every mirror match. The fact that I played some Protoss, or that I normally play Terran, is incidental to the amount of 4gates that 4gate the 4gate in PvP.
Basically, the joke works like this: I wanted to play some Protoss, so I used this cool desktop background that shows some build orders and stuff on my 2nd monitor while i have the game open in my main screen. The PvP build order list includes some build orders that aren't 4gate.
In the 2nd image, I show the same screenshot with "4gate" scribbled all over it, along with pictures of 4 warpgates and "Korean 4 Warpgate All-in", and all the PvP builds that aren't 4gate crossed out.
Because of 4gate. In PvP.
This is a joke.
