Considering 90% of foreign players are protoss, don't switch! (jk jk... at least iccup population is true).
As people said, it's an easier race to play on the lower levels, but once you get good and move on to good players, protoss is a hard race to master.

Protoss is the easiest race at D-B but possibly the hardest race once you reach B+ - S. In otherwords, it isn't hard to start winning games and it is very easy to learn. I recommend it, especially since you love watching pro gamer protoss's so much. It will only build on your knowledge which you could incorporate in your gameplay.

play both if you have the time, especially if you're just going to do iccup. Don't know what your rank is, but if it's D or Cs then it isn't too hard to get games if you are able to make. Even if you can't make due to lat I don't think it's too bad. Just play with 2 accounts or just switch around.

Playing protoss bumped my rank up by 1 this season after years of terran, so if you want to be a cheesy protoss you'll soon see a higher rank in your future

play protoss if you enjoy pvp.

Go Protoss! After playing Zerg for years all I can say is i bet on the wrong race. Toss has by far the most OP unit combinations aside from any combos with Siege Tanks.

LIVE FOR DA SWOOOAAAAAAAAARM!!! I'd say, just like BW infested terrans.

But here is the deal:

I started BW as a Protoss player. Kal and Bisu were my favorite players and I liked the beast macro style of BeSt and Shuttle too. But then, I met the wonderful swarm and their representatives. I met the aggressive style of Jaedong, July, Yellow; the defensive management style of sAviOr, ZerO, EffOrt, GoRush. Then decided to switch to zerg.

Long story short, I still play Zerg. And I'm so happy that I switched. Protoss just isn't for me.

Maybe Zerg just isn't for you either. Give those bros a chance too.

I feel inclined to comment on this but not having play BW in a while, I don't think it's a good idea. The only thing I can say is if you feel Protoss is your race, go for it!!!!!
