Went to the ocean today. Northern (Well, not quite Northern, but very cold (68, so warm for here, but it felt cold!)) Atlantic. Anyways, it was really cool! We couldn't find a non-rocky beach, so we walked a distance in the shore, but it wasn't bad. Walking is never a bad thing! We walked to a nice little sand-ed-y area with a whole bunch of large rocks. Rocks shouldn't be 15 ft. tall. I mean really, noone needs rocks taller than Andre the Giant. Anyways, the tide was coming in, but still had awhile to go (7-8 hours, only a little while ). But we sat there for almost 4 hours at waist height, just enjoying the waves. For any of you who have never been to the ocean, the waves can get large enough to double the trough of the wave cycle, meaning if you're sitting in the belly area of water height, the waves can carry you a little bit. It's very cool, and a great day out no matter who you are.
We came back, watched the movie adaptation of Terry Pratchett's The Colour of Magic, and had BLT's. I don't care what you say, bacon is tremendously delicious. I think I'll have another. Might even throw some Italian sausages into the mix, just to spice it up. Also, watching Day[9] at the moment. When did Ret get that crisp? I don't remember him being so gooood! It's clever, using Shakuras Plateau's natural Protoss inclination to get a natural expansion quickly to your advantage by double expoing at 20 food. I would never have thought of that. I haven't heard word of him much since BW in 2006. Don't know why, but now he's won the EU Blizzard Invitational....
Anyways! I shall leave you all to make another delicious sandwich of awesomeness, and will probably have some coke, too. *Moaning Sounds* Goodnight all!
