Due to the immense popularity of the ESPORTS aviators, my girlfriend has been gracious enough to make a couple more and put them out for sale. At this moment I'd just like to gauge interest in who would be actually willing to purchase some personally crafted ESPORTS aviators.
The new aviators should be higher quality than those shown at Anaheim, as they were made with water-based sharpie paints which aren't too permanent, and they don't have any finish so they may chip (had to fix em at Anaheim).
They'll be $25 possibly with shipping and we'll handle everything through PayPal. If you're interested becoming ESPORTS just leave a comment below. We plan to be distributing at most 25-30 in the first wave, and eventually 100 if the interest is high. Hopefully to have some out before MLG Raleigh!
EDIT UPDATE:
We may be able to ship outside US if people don't mind covering the extra shipping costs.
Update on visibility
We're looking into paints that will allow much more visibility than our original glasses. Essentially we're looking into glass paints which will basically make a stain glass effect with the ability to see through the lenses. We will keep you updated on the experimentation, but putting paint on lenses will inevitably obscure vision to an extent. We are aiming to minimize it.

Is it noticable when looking through the lenses?
As in, does the writing get in the way of your view?

The original pairs weren't see-through but then again, they were just a prototype that we kind of threw together for MLG. We're looking into transparent glass paint and aviators that are more reflective than just dark so those would ideally be see-through.

@MaestroSC Just read up on trasparent/transluscent paints with Eri, so its something we're going to definitely aim for so you don't accidentally ESPORTS too hard and walk into a wall.
Also, shipping to outside the US wasn't as horrible as we thought but people will probably have to cover the extra shipping costs.

Shindigs didn't mention it yet, but we are also considering shipping internationally depending on the rates. The only downside is that we would need to charge additional for shipping, but it's not a huge amount for the flat-rate small box :X

maybe you could just charge a flat rate + shipping, at least that way the glasses always cost the same! instead of working out the pricing for each region
i definitely think alot of people would be interested in these though!!

Thanks! That is something we can consider, but the only downside is that we would probably have to increase the flat rate for the glasses just to compensate for the pricier international shipping, which wouldn't be entirely fair for those in the US :\ We will see though!

You could consider just making stickers out of the letters and let people overseas buy appropriate glasses

I wonder if they'd make the criteria to sell on etsy.com. I haven't really looked at their rules and regulations for products, but it could be a way for you to set up an online shop easily and possibly help reduce some of the headaches of selling online.

For those who are interested, hang tight! We're brainstorming on what we can do to increase visibility and will start experimenting with different paints and aviators after this weekend. We'll probably create another post with a prototype with a product that is more visible and gauge interest on who will like the new versus the old.

I'm interested, any idea on the extra shipping costs to The Netherlands? Around 20 dollars? I would say you could sell 1000 easily, but might be better to keep things in proportions and not having some leftovers.
