Hm. Given that you're in germany, I'm not sure how well I'd be able to teach you any of the skills I have. I can play Saxaphone, cook a variety of basic dishes, and drive stick/standard/manual transmission cars. I'm not sure any of this besides the cooking can be taught via youtube video. If you want to learn how to cook stir-fries, noodles, rice, and hamburgers let me know :p

damn, im just interested in what people can teach i dont really know if i can do anything...only thing that comes to mind is a few things at the gym im great at teaching but i dont fucking know anything :/

Oh no, wait, MATH! I can teach math up through multivariate calculus and linear algebra. Also basic college-level physics. If that interests you at all, though I'm sure there's better people than me making videos on the internet.
|
I'd be very interested! I have 3 weeks of only a couple of hours of work per day before school starts and I usually end up surfing quite a bit during work, so learning PS would be a nice way of filling up my days. Besides, I love doing music/programming projects on my computer so I'll probably enjoy this a lot.

I'm a full-time software and website developer, and my photoshop skills need refinement. I'm familiar with a portion of the basics, but if you can bestow knowledge upon me then I'd be happy to trade for some programming lessons. Whether you're interested in program development (C++ or C#) for the desktop application, or you're interested in web development, I'd be willing to discuss trading lessons!

I can teach you to make Ramen with eggs in it.

hmm math would be nice, I'm actually econ student. Linear algebra is fairly interesting.

i want to know how to make those abstract and vector graphic designs. there are tutorials but they seem harder to follow. in return, i can teach u how to bake cakes :D
|
Would you accept learning how to make scrambled eggs?
|
|
yes!! I am in the same boat, classes end in 3 weeks and then I will have soooo much time. I really want to start taking and editing pictures, but don't know anything about photoshop. I've honestly only used Paint before lol.
but i'm willing to learn (and i'll get photoshop by then.)
I can't believe how convenient this could be! Huge fan of your works btw
I can teach YOU about basic coding, korean, japanese, or chess over the internet Easily, and things like light shows, frisbee, would be harder but i would try. I could also show / teach you a lot about electronic music. just like, help you explore the world out there.
The reason why i would be a good teacher at the first four is that i'm not actually That good at them, but i understand what i know, so if you wanted to we could actually expand both of our knowledge together after i teach you everything i know.
OMGGGGGG?!?!?!?!?
honestly who ever you DO pick you sould stream your skype convos or whatever. you could give ALL of us lessons at once, even if you only learn from one or two of us
|
Whoa, this is an amazing idea, seriously. You teach us and we teach you...wow. Just such a good idea :D
I do not have anything to teach you, unfortunately
disciple is definitely very good at what he does--don't miss out on this opportunity.

We will start from ground zero. Getting a grip over the basic tools and understanding how the whole thing works. I wont jump straight into doing specific things, my main goal with this is to show you how to express your ideas and how to provoke your creativity. I will show you how to do some stuff from A to Z - like a wallpaper or some sort of a composition, but the most common mistake of being a beginner is jumping straight into PS with the idea to do smth "cool". While my set of skills is not very large I would dare saying I'm fairly clever and good at bending my skills around the ideas I have. Behind a lot of stuff I'm going to show you, there is a really simple trick anyone could pull off. In many cases you would feel like being shown a magic trick and you could be disappointed how easy it is, but simple things are often best and you dont have to be a design gosu to have a right feel about aesthetics .

ACTUALLLLLYYYY....
We could just make a teaching circle, hey?
Everyone teaches something and everybody learns. :p
Would people repay you in private, or would this be a giant mutual learning experience?

Don't listen to disciple. Seriously. That "I'm not as good as trained designers blah blah blah" bullshit. disciple is the fucking man and he knows it.

post of the day. Great stuff.
Ps. I have nothing to teach you but I might tune in to learn to make whitera's face appear EVERYWHERE

AS far as practical I know a few things around the gym, also I am a computer science and a math major at college, so I can definitely show you the ropes of those. However, as to how practical both of those subjects I really don't know. I can also cook fairly well, although that seems to be a pretty common skill.

I can teach you how to cook instant ramen! TOP pro-gaming house quality. Hit me up.

I'm an Econ Ph.D. grad student. Since you're apparently an Econ student, I think I would have something to teach you.
Also, I would like to learn Photoshop, but don't own a copy. Is there any way I can learn from you without owning the software?

I can cook and ... do you want to breakdance?! lol I'm interested .. :D
EDIT: Oh I can teach you KOREAN!
|
It's too bad that the only thing I know how to do, everyone else knows how to do.
If you want to talk useless things, I can speedsolve a rubik's cube in <15 seconds and also do it blindfolded. I also used to be ranked nationally in my age group for table tennis, if that says anything.
Edit: Oh, I can teach you cello. That's about it.

Not sure... look at it this way - I never played sc2 but got some very basic understanding of whats going on while I'm watching it. I can give you a copy of PS no problem.
Btw I will PM everyone who expressed interest when Im done with my exams to arrange smth.

I could teach you how to program in 10 different programming languages as well as (X)HTML, CSS and SQL... but sadly i'm already versed enough in photoshop, you would need to have something else to teach me :p

I'm in the process of setting up a website/business sort of thing, so knowing how to do graphics would be useful. Unfortunately, my only useful skill is being able to play the Pokemon TCG professionally (that's what our website is about ). I'm the only player in the history of the game to make the finals at US Nationals three times (nobody else has done it more than once), and I've finished in the Top 4 four times (nobody else has done it more than twice). So, if you're interested in learning how to play a new game, that's what I can offer!

Im down to talk photoshop anytime. I really like your text styles and other little aesthetic flares you add to pictures. Do you have any specific fonts that you like to work with? I have a lot of trouble finding good looking font types that stay good looking when edited alot.

I would need a copy too. Just reformatted and it's a new computer. D:
I'd love to learn some of your photoshop skills. The question is what skill-set should I teach you? Spontaneity, Pochinko clown technique, better sex with your partner, video editing, mixology, marshmallow salad, carpentry 101, etc. I don't know man, it's your pick ha ha ha

Sounds like a great idea! But the only thing I can think of to teach you about is economic...and it looks like that base is covered . /shrug

i can teach you how to use GIMP and the importance of free software
