Why would you even quote me? This guy that I'm quoting is talking about maybe in America police do x y z. I tell him in America they do a b c. You say I shouldn't compare America to the rest of the world. Please, please show me where I did that ![]()

Tinted windows are illegal because they impair your vision, and thus impair your ability to drive safely - perhaps not dramatically, but driving is already dangerous enough as it is without hindering yourself for no good reason.

I do agree with you that tinting the front windshield is retarded. On July 23 2011 18:23 Cr4zyH0r5e wrote: AFAIK as long as the front window isn't tinted you should be fine. I had a Chrysler 300m with the back seat windows tinted and never got pulled over. Why not clear the front ones and ask for the tickets to be removed? It doesn't matter if I clear them or not. They won't drop the tickets. My plan was to actually get rid of the tint after getting my 1st ticket, but I had to work and didn't get the time to do it, so I drove with my windows down for the next couple of days. It still didn't stop the cops from being douchebags even though they didn't see my windows. On July 23 2011 18:13 vnlegend wrote: Cars with tinted windows are lame. Blocking my visibility all the time. Also the people who tint their lights, those are the gayest things I've ever seen! I'm sorry, but how in the fuck does having my windows (driver side/passenger side) block your visibility? Last I checked, you shouldn't be staring at other drivers while driving. On July 24 2011 01:28 Twoinches wrote: Yeah I am stumped. "yo everytime I break the law I get a ticket" yes that is how it works. and if your a repeat offender, cops can easily see you driving and know you have tint and are therefor breaking the law. thats why there targeting you, Because you are a easy ticket. its 100% your own fault. You're preaching to the wrong person, but it's more like "Yo, they didn't see that I had tinted windows, but stopped me just to fuck with me and forced me to show my tinted windows." They really had no reason to stop me the 2nd and 3rd time, but they did anyway. I wasn't speeding. I wasn't driving like an asshole. I was in my lane and had the cops just "randomly" stop me for no reason. I'm complaining more about the fact that it feels like I'm being harassed over such a petty issue when there are people doing much worse on a daily basis. What if you're driving at night and it's raining incredibly hard? Are you really going to keep your windows rolled down so you can see properly? Tinted windows are illegal because they impair your vision, and thus impair your ability to drive safely - perhaps not dramatically, but driving is already dangerous enough as it is without hindering yourself for no good reason. I can see properly without my windows down, but thanks for the concern. My tint isn't that dark. It's pretty easy to see through. The only time I have a hard time seeing through my windows is when my eyes aren't adjusted to the dark yet after I was just looking at something bright such as my computer screen. On July 24 2011 06:08 Fontong wrote: Looking cool definitely isn't worth increased danger on the road, why bother? I can argue that my tints have stopped the sun from blinding me many times, so they actually help me. My tint does not impair my vision as much as you think it does. I get the feeling that everyone thinks my tint is fucking dark black such as a 5% tint. It's not. It's only 20%. That's pretty damn easy to see through if you ask me. I haven't noticed any difference in my driving with or without tint. I can still see fine through both side mirrors and my rear view mirror with the tint. In the two years I've been driving with my tint on, I have never had to roll my windows down just to see through a mirror.

While the decision to have illegally tinted windows may seem foolish to some, your consistent, selfless donations to our underpaid, understaffed, and struggling police departments are helping to fill a large hole in their budgets. I salute you! ![]()

I salute you! ![]() I agree, it's always nice to see upstanding citizens donate to governmental institutions. Anyways, i would guess that they recognize your car, know that you have tinted windows, know that it's illegal and just want to make sure you actually remove the tint some day, so they stop you until you finally follow the law. I would guess that it's annoying for the police officers to see you driving with illegal car modifications (i.e. tinted windows) every day, mocking them by just paying the tickets instead of removing the cause ("I have money, i don't need to follow the law"... doesn't matter if it's true or not, that is what it looks like). Should stop for a while if you change the paint of your car and get a fake beard.
