The importance of replays

Last night after a long day of ladder games I decided to go to sleep because I have work today. I was going to watch a stream for a little before going to bed. Then when I tried to get online my internet was down. I really wanted to watch some Starcraft, it's the best game ever. I didn't want to get off my bum and mess with the router and all that fancy interweb stuff. After a lot of thinking and a lot of will power I sat down and watched a fair amount of replays of myself. It wasn't pretty, but I have a huge list of things to improve. So I went to bed and this morning woke up had some Frosted Flakes, said hello to my cat. I went onto TL and watched Dragon stream for a little bit after that was done I ordered a Blackwidow Ultimate which will be on my porch tomorrow. Then it was time to sit down and ladder. I've been floating around 13-20 range for a long time in my plat division it was getting frustrating really. I had my list of things I need to improve in front of me and picked one thing. My thing was to not wait until I have 800000000 mins after I get my expansion, and then make production facilities. Instead I got my expo then added the buildings when I thought I could afford them. I lost my first game, big whoop I wasn't warmed up so I didn't expect to win or anything. Then I played my second and won, then won my third and so on. Next thing I know I'm sitting at 12 in my division. Woot! Then I played some more and now I'm up to 8th. Even though it still is painful to watch myself play I will make more of an effort to view my replays and hopefully I can reach my goal of masters in season 3.
