So I've been entering these Z33k daily tournaments and getting completely destroyed by diamonds and masters (only gold league terran) but the question is that if I'm just getting destroyed in these tournaments should i even enter into then since it feels like all i can do is just watch my replay and see how much better the other guy is and facepalm myself. Thoughts?

Depends on what your reasons for joining these tournaments in the first place are

If you enjoy getting the tournament experience then do it.
If you don't then don't.
If what you described grows unbearably frustrating, then practice on ladder and get better, then start joining again.

You learn more from your mistakes in a loss against a good players, so I don't see the downside. If there's no entry fee then why not? Learn from the losses.

Well its not that Im not having fun in these tournaments and the losses are getting close still nothing close to a win but ya know i can at least force a late game now kinda unless its some crazy all in.

Tournaments are extremely fun regardless on how destroyed you get. I find tournaments actually force me to play when I otherwise could be bothered. But hey, the game is fun dude, just play and practice as much as you can, eventually you will be up to their level.

I play in shittons of tournaments and I never win, not even local lans. But I have a blast playing and trying my best. If your not having fun playing don't play!

I think finding local tournaments would be more beneficial. It's a great place to meet practice partners, and even if you get stomped in the first round you can still stick around and just chat with people, try to pick up pointers, etc.Online tournaments are a lot more impersonal.

Yea a lan event would be awesome but i kinda live out in the middle of no where and going to a lan just to get smashed would be a waste of money although if i had some extra cash i would definatly be there and recently i got second in a bronze to gold tourney which made me so excited i just had to do the funky chicken haha
