I've been trying to get into Broodwar but I can't find people of my skill level. People on Iccup are too good for me. This may be a common problem but let me explain:
My APM is 60 and I can beat the computer but not consistently. I've been trying to find people who are as bad as I am on Iccup, but I haven't found anyone.
So I'm looking for people who are really really bad to practice with. If you think beating the computer is easy you are probably too good. If your APM is high you're probably too good.
Is there anyone out there who thinks they're around my skill level and who's willing to play with me.
Note: d- is too good and most of the time keyboard rank is too

In my small BW life I won one 1v1 in which we both DT rushed. I swear, I felt so gosu when I got that win.

Make games that say "E/D- only Python or other 4 player map". Some D- players should be in E, same with D players, since they just haven't lost enough points to get to E. Making games actually lets you start games a lot faster on average than joining them.
If you have good friends, get them to coach you.

What you can do I guess is make a few friends here and have them limit themselves. One such idea would be to ask the players to stick by a certain apm; for example, you can ask someone to maintain around a 60 apm (1 action per second), a 30 apm (1 action per 2 seconds), or a 20 apm (1 action per 3 apm), although I don't think the latter two are really necessary. This way, you can watch the decisions behind their actions more slowly in replays and analyze the decisions they prioritized with such restrictions. Then, you can move your pace up from there.

learn a build order, no really learn it. learn strong fd (flashes) or siege expand. and learn the 9 minute push vs. z. you will instantly be mid D

I suggest spamming to maintain ~300APM every game. Hotkey everything and just cycle like a madman. Sure you'll play even worse, but you'll reap the benefit in a few weeks.
60 is much too low for Terran, get that up, and your game will improve by leaps and bounds. Yes, at ~60APM is when artificially increasing APM actually helps more than trying to improve your gameplay.
