He is not proud of winning a cheese game, he just thought IdrA's reaction is funny. Marc clearly stated he wants to be able to take "real" (being Macro) games off IdrA one day in the not so distant future. To all "attention-whore"-callers: This is a blog [def]. A blog is meant to contain random thoughts, rants or stories of it's author(s). Given that, how would this post be inappropriate? On-topic: lulz were had. Very entertaining video, although I spill my drink every single time close to the end when you get exited about your win ^__^ Look forward to more of these entertaining posts/videos! | ||

if you look at it from the pov of idra, how the hell is he gonna react to your build (you denied all his scouting possibilities, and you go whatever you want after the 1gate1core)? All he can do is make a blind guess ie do a coin flip. admittedly the engagement was bad but overall, sadly, like idra said, this is game is just retarded (specifically at the situation). i mean, your timing and everything isnt even that tight (your 2nd and 3rd round warp-in timing are not sharp at all), so i really have no idea what makes you so happy about the win against the mechanically perfect Idra. desrow, i watch your stream sometimes and kinda like it but now i may changed my mind. i mean, posting a blog like this is really not cool  any toss with that strat slaughter any zerg on xelnaga anyway. | ||

This is a classic example of Idra fanboyism allowing someone to overlook so many obvious flaws in Idra's play: hmm I scouted 3 chronos being used on the warpgate tech, well better not worry about sending in an overlord to see if he's 4-gating (the most common build with so many chronos on the core), well I saw a nice little scouting probe walk to the left side of the map no need to check for proxy pylons... I believe the mechanical perfection to which you attribute to Idra would have helped him recognize such an obvious attack. So what form of scouting did Desrow actually prevent that made this impossible for Idra? he saw all he needed with his initial drone/ scouting the front with lings, granted Desrow was ready to stop any overlord scout for a bit but he backed off after a few seconds, do you really think 2 sentries can kill an overlord before it is able to move 2 pixels over? I find it hard to believe this was in any way a coinflip. | ||
