I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed how Catz and Ret handled the situation. Especially Catz post on how he is blameless is really shady, since he has been warned about the girl at the MLG.I hope for him that he never gets into a situation where he's being cheated on.
Also it might be good advise for both Catz and Ret to get tested for STDs as soon as possible, and to stay clear of any sexual encounters until they have tested clean. No need to spread anything around.

I am not addressing how to solve the situation in the long term. Of course he should dump the girl, moreso, he should never have taken her for his girlfriend in the first place. But if this is the first instance of this behavior, and a random dude keeps going after your warning then you are a pushover if you allow other people to disrespect you in your face. OFC you should inmediately break up with her after, hell, I would consider getting into a fight (regardless of outcome) in this context to be a de facto breakup.

Some facts. Only criminal here is teh girl. No offense, but Ret is kind of pathetic if he really paid $1600,.. I mean, he barely met her and investing 1,6k like Josh said. The girls boyfriend - nice that you shared story with us, but move on from that peace of crap, simple thing.

I'm glad this was finally revealed! Sounds to me like MLG panicked when they couldn't start the day on time so they booted Catz. Lets hope during the next MLG they are treating all players equally!

Interesting read, really disappointed that there was no Catz v July match. That would have been one hell of a match. Could really care less if starcraft players want to use their fame to get a few fan girls, but I really do wish the players would sort out their priorities. I'm a little bit shocked if Ret really did buy that girl a $1,600 plane ticket...
I have lost a little bit of respect for both Catz and Ret, but nothing that can't be gained back.

well, Really seems that there was a double standard going around at MLG where some players could be late and others couldn't ? Or maybe it has something to do with it being the second day, and people should have been more prepared? Honestly I am a huge Catz fan and its disappointing to see him robbed like this.
