So where to begin other than from the beginning.
I've lurked TL since 07. To be precise it was since blizzcon 07.
I saw a game of 2 koreans playing eachother and the game was packed with action.
It was none other than Nal_ra vs SaviOr in the finals.

I was so drawn into the game as a spectator while not knowing anything about the game. I played the campaign in SC1 but never knew what the exact name of the game was after my brother's computer died. So after almost 8-10 years or so I found out at blizzcon that it was this exact game that I liked so much when I was a kid.
So I got more into BW as a spectator after watching the blizzcon 07 finals while not playing the game.
I immediately became a fan of Nal_ra and also I thought the name KTF MagicNs was the coolest ever.
The colours and logo were cool and I started to root for my newfound team KTF MagicNs.

After the finals it became quiet as I didn't found any videos of this league for a while.
I then came across posts on SK-Gaming about a new starcraft league called the GomTv Star Invitational.

Arguably the 16 best players at the time from what I knew back then.
Obviously since I was a fan of any KTF member I instantly saw this little kid who was at the time only 15 years old according to this American caster with coloured hair.
The same American that casted the Blizzcon 07 finals. You know it! It's none other than our own very Tasteless who is now a commentator for GomTV of their sc2 league the Global Starcraft League (GSL).

lilsusie and Tasteless in his youthfull years LOL!
So this little 15 year old kid who was competing with others for 40million won first prize if I recall correctly.
The tournament ended up being won by none other than this 15 year old prodigy from KTF. I was surprised and amazed that such a young kid was able to beat the other progamers.
I believe he was the youngest pro gamer to win a tournament in Korea.

So after this it became quiet for a while. I somehow forgot about BW for a while due to college.
From 08 till 10 I was studying hard and worked quite hard as I earned quite a lot of money as a student with the occasional free time spending on wc3/dota/hon/cs1.6 fun.

After 2 years or so I saw by a friend in 2010 that there was a sc2 Beta.
My friend was registered for the beta key for over a few months and never got a key. I decided to try out my luck and immediately got a beta key after only a week somewhere in april after my birthday.
Unfortunately I was quite unlucky as I only had a Macbook Pro at the time.
Then luckily I knew you could get Bootcamp so I immediately installed Bootcamp with windows XP on it.
And after all that hassle I finally managed to play sc2 on my Macbook Pro.
Finally after almost 2-3 years after watching starcraft I finally decided to play the game myself.
Since I had experience with wc3 before I didn't had any fear of ladder. So I pressed that button to go on search for my ladder opponent. I chose protoss as I liked toss and I was a huge huge fan of Nal_ra from BW so I chose toss. As sc2 was so different than wc3 I struggled in the beginning as I had no idea what to do.

Since I'm such a competitive player I wanted to become better and learn more.
I remembered something about Teamliquid.net
Tasteless always plugged TL.net in GSI or was it blizzcon so I managed to remember about teamliquid and thus I saw a sc2 section which my prayers have been heard.
I stumbled onto the strategy section and tried to learn from it and try to get information about it but after a few weeks I noticed that the strategy forum was quite uninformed to say the least. So I decided to stay away from the strategy forums and decided to watch streams and I saw a stream or a replay (i don't know the exact details anymore) from this toss called Nony. I learned a lot from the replays that involved this guy ^^
So I decided to copy all the builds while not knowing any details about the circumstances why these builds Nony used worked. Thus I figured I should just try it out and see for myself.
By doing this I was able to go through every league (copper/bronze/silver/gold/plat/diamond) in the beta from mid beta till end I finally managed to get to the highest league at the end of the beta for only playing 2 months or so.
Since then I've watched GSL/MLG/IEM/DreamHack/Blizzcon and many more events and improved every day and learning a new thing every day where I'm now currently at only the 1.1k master league level
I hope I continue to learn more and hope for a long TL banless stay :p
Cheers and I hope you enjoyed my blog

Edit:
New icon yay :p
