This is a series in which I document my time from Bronze league to Grandmaster. I want no replies from you "glass half-empty" folk saying, "You'll never do it." Say something constructive, or don't say it at all.
Anyway:
Bronze league, a barren land where only scum who cheese and 4gate remain. As I look around, I can see a desalect billboard that says, "You f***in' nub!" It is a tough place, I've spent months here. Traversing this treacherous land is dangerous, and I feel only I can brave it.
Game 1:
I have to get up and do something for 20 seconds, so I ask my opponent to pause please. He obliges with a smiley face. I return shortly after to find my base ravaged with zerglings. I tell him what a well-mannered chap he is and leave.
I was disheartened, and I felt exposed to the reality of what I was facing. Terror.
Game 2 did not happen that day, nor the next day, as I spent what felt like minutes rocking back and forth gently in the corner of my room crying.
So you wrote a blog to explain how a guy unpaused on you on bronze, causing you to play no more games that day? You have to play more if you seriously want to do this..

It was just a joke, you honestly thought I was in the corner of my room crying too? :p

It'll undoubtedly be tough, but I don't think it's impossible for you if you're motivated and stick with it. Didn't Machine say on SotG podcast that he coached a silver league player back in beta and now his student is in GM and beats him regularly?
If you don't want any criticism then don't post your blog on the internet. You are gonna have to play more than 1 game per day to get where you want. At least 20-30 games per day. Find a team/practice partners. I feel like you one night had an idea to blog about getting good rather than having the idea first and then thinking about blogging. Doesn't work like that.
Stop posting fail jokes and start posting fail games, fail battles, fail gameplans, fail micro, fail macro and everything you fail in. You will get answers that help you improve and fail less.

I want "constructive criticism", not "omg nub!", if you get me.
A reasonable idea, actually. It is better than my humour, which either no one gets, or I just find myself so hilarious I don't notice.
Hey man, all power to you. If you think you can do it, then do it. I'd be willing to give you criticism, and constructive criticism at that. It's gonna be tough, heck yeah, but that doesn't mean you can do it. Keep at it and don't get discouraged, and good luck!
This is not based on 100% reality, I am trying to get to GM, but the stuff I write may be exaggerated, or just not true. Don't take this too seriously.
