I noticed there was some interest when rANDY was blogging about betting on SC2 @ Pinnacle so I thought I might make a couple of entries, if there is interest I will continue to chronicle along the rest of the tournament, unfortunately for some reason they don't put up lines on the NASL anymore  ,felt like it was ALOT easier making profit off those, haha. If you like reading this stuff feel free to comment and speculate who you'd go for, rANDY if you're out there let me know what you think, I think I'm a pretty big betting noob compared to you  .

MVP vs Creator
I just can't see MVP losing here, and with the odds as they are, I feel like going for 5 units @ 1.521 betting on a 2-0 isn't bad value, MVP was struggling TvP before, but he seemed to do great against TT1 in the SagaCITY tournament, and just plays a straight up, solid, and more than anything else safe style of TvP these days.
GanZi vs ButterflyEffect
I've decided to bet on a 2-0 again, I'm abit more unsure than MVP, and GanZi has a notoriously bad TvT record, but I have been impressed by him and the training environment of SlayerS just seems like their players will be improving at rates far better than most other SC2 progamers, especially someone like ButterflyEffect who seems to have dropped off the planet. 3.5 units @1.943 for a 2-0 by Ganzi.
Check vs SuperNova
SuperNova feels pretty unstoppable TvZ, but I think Check has been improving a decent amount, Prime has some solid Terrans to practice against and these maps seem much better than the ones he was struggling with, so I think he's got enough of a shot that betting on him 5 units @3.070 for Check winning is solid.
MMA vs Lyn
I think MMA will crush, he is just on a tear, unless Lyn gets super lucky with a blue flame drop or some sort of Proxy I think this will be extremely onesided. I can see Lyn taking a game, but no way the takes the series, so I'll go for 10 units @1.538 on MMA taking the series.
Disclaimer: I'm pretty new to this, feel free to give me advice! I'm really not betting much $$, but I'll use "units" to keep things ambiguous, I'm just more interested in odds and whatnot and I think its cool, and a fun way to get a bit more into GSL and such :D.

i really dont like the ganzi bet and also dont like the check bet. MMA bet is solid and mvp is w/e he'll probably win but the odds are pretty ridiculous

hmm
i actually think that those are really good bets if you forget about the odds for a moment because they are not important since the bets will most likely all be correct
maybe supernova vs check is pretty 50/50'ish so not sure about that one

I'm also a bit unsure about the GanZi bet, sure Butterflyeffect has dropped off the radar, but that's what kinda makes him a bit danger, because maybe he's actually decent, just haven't seen must of him. Never the less i'm confident GanZi will take the series, your outher bets seem to be pretty solid as well.

No, ButterflyEffect is honestly terrible. He's what gave January's code A a bad name. Yeah, he's that guy. The guy who failed at every aspect of TvT against oGsLittleboy (who also failed but even worse)
And SuperNoVa almost beat LoSirA in a Bo5. Check has no chance.

I don't think the bracket is released, only the matches for the first round, Gom seems to have a history of doing that...
